Excellent! The room had a newly renovated look and was tastefully decorated. Most motels would have an old painting on the wall, but this room had a beautiful "Ducks Unlimited" print. Attention to detail was evident. The room was very clean.
It had all we needed--microwave, fridge, wi-fi, and comfortable beds. It was also quiet. Will certainly return.

My husband and I spent a long weekend in Killam for a family get-together.
We stayed at the Wagon Wheel Inn in the lower of the two suites. It consisted of a kitchen, sitting room, two bedrooms each with their own en-suite. It was a wonderful surprise to find it so spotlessly clean, up to date, and very comfortable. The air conditioning was very welcome as the temps were in the high 20’s. We highly recommend this motel.

Stayed Halloween night it was beautifully decorated lots of kids coming into the office, a real family atmosphere. We found the owner/operators( and their doggy) super friendly, easy check in, very clean updated rooms, apartment size fridge in our room, comfy bed, modern decor. THE place to stay in Killam area. Excellent value for your money.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. We were looking for some family history in the area, and they were very helpful.
The motel is very clean and comfortable. An older building but nicely updated.

We had a hockey team stay at the wagon wheel from Jan 7-9, 2022. I would go out of my way to avoid any chain hotels if they were within a 50 km radius of the Wagon wheel to stay there again. Quiet, friendly, clean, fantastic beds, cozy, but more than anything, a small town business owned and operated by the owners taking great pride in the appearance and service which is the heartbeat of rural Alberta.

The motel was very clean and had all the amenities, room was well taken care of. Staff were friendly and helpful and had all the info about the town. Most importantly, in the hot July weather the room cooled down almost immediately with the air conditioner! If you have to stay in Killam, stay here!

Looking for value, comfort, cleanliness, pet friendly and quiet. I think I got most everything I was looking for. Even though this Motel has been here for a long time, it's easy to see that it's been well maintained inside and out. It's reasonable and through their efforts to be that way the Motel attracts a wide variety of clientele . Their in lies my only small beef. The hunters Are out the door 4am ish, so that's your first wake up. The rig workers fire up their trucks at 5:30 and let them run when there's no need. So if you're a sound sleeper, it's all good, but if you sleep lightly it could be tough getting a good nights rest.

Hidden gem in Killiam! Pulled up to a very clean neat looking hotel with beautiful flower boxes outside of each room door.
Inside we were surprised with a newly renovated bathroom and hardwood floors. The Queen bed was very comfy. Not a huge room but big enough for a sleepover. Price was great and owners so friendly! Would definitely stay here again.
