Felts Family Reunion 2023 was held at this beautiful rustic cabin resort for the first (definitely not the last!) Time. The resort, lake, staff and weather was fantastic! The Cabins were well stocked with everything one needed to prepare big meals! Duck cabin was family central because of the yard space and fire pit. Staff was very accommodating and allowed us to bring extra tables over. Bathroom in Lynx cabin is very tiny, weirdly laid out and wont fit a large person comfortably. The lake and water activities kept the kids entertained all day! Other than that it was great and we will be back in 2025!

We stayed in the WOLF cabin during our stay. It was perfection. A little log home with a fridge/freezer, running hot and cold water and a full stove with oven. It is rustic and functional all at the same time! It has a bathroom with toilet, sink and stand up shower. The floor slopes a little here, but it just adds to the charm. There is a pull out hideabed that is VERY comfortable, a queen bed in a loft (careful on the stairs!!) and a queen bed in a bedroom with a single over double bunkbed. This little cabin is the closest to the water. the deck is large and has a BB and picnic table. Down a set of steps you have your own private dock. The owners are so friendly and really made us feel so welcomed. We fell in love - so much we are booked for the next 2 years before we left! This is a family resort, with quiet time after 10 PM. People are respectful of this and it just adds to the experience sitting on the side of this beauty of a lake watching the fish jump and hearing the loons call out. Highly recommended.…

Beaver lake was so fun, the staff was so accommodating and kind, and the views and cabins were amazing. My mom and I went up to Beaver Lake Resort in Lake Country to stay the night with my Aunt in her cabin. However, when we got there the campground was very confusing and we didn't know where to go. I went to the lodge to ask for directions and the front desk lady was very nice and helped me out. This interaction gave me confidence because I know I can advocate for myself and take initiative to figure out where to go. This was a positive interaction because the front desk lady was very nice.

We booked this trip in 2019 for the follow year - but due to Covid finally had our delayed Fam Jam in 2021! What a wonderful trip with all the family 9 adults & 2 children. We rented 3 cabins; Lynx, Coyote and Cougar. Although the Coyote is smaller and rustic (no washroom but has running water) it is so perfect for a couple and has an awesome dock which we were using daily for fishing/swimming and boating. The other two cabins were well appointed with comfortable sleeping and nice patios for evening dinners and games. Cougar has great storage pantry. Lynx has great two doors that open to the patio for evening entertaining. We enjoyed a hike to WrinklyMountain (watch closely for signage on the trail) and lots of bike rides too. The campsite has very nice sites some very secluded with large clean washrooms/showers. My older son has camped there several times with his family. The staff are very meticulous with cleaning and repairs and their customer service is great. Very friendly and helpful with all our questions and needs. We bought bait/ice/coffee and odds and ends that we needed in their store. There are lots of families and the main beach can get busy due to campers but having a cabins & dock we didnt use the beach much. Enjoy the mornings…the loons and sunrise are amazing and fishing was fun too! Looking forward to our return - plan to rent boats next visit!…

We just left there today and have booked for the next 2 summers. Our family of 5 (plus a 124lb dog) love it there! The staff are so friendly and have become friends over the last 2 years. We have made new friends each year and are so excited to be going back! The facilities are always clean with free hot showers and a dishwashing station. If you have the time, rent a boat and head out to one of the many small islands for a little exploring hike and or some great trout fishing. The playground has multiple levels, swings, bridges and slides keeping the kids busy for hours and hours. The lodge has any forgotten items you might need as well as ICE and firewood (when campfires are allowed) The dog park is a short walk and large enough for lots of dogs. Any issues that come up, all of the staff are all great people who are willing to help out with a smile. This really is the ultimate family vacation destination in BC. There is a great sense of community all around and meeting multiple families from around BC while camping has been a big highlight for our family. We are already counting down the days until next summers visit!…

Every year my family and I rent 2 cabins at this wonderful place. It’s so beautiful there and peaceful! The staff there are amazing and do a great job running the place. We had a small issue with the cabin we were in. They handled it quick and fast. Only complaint I could give is the road isn’t that great but eh that’s not their fault at all. The district of Winfield needs to step up and put some money and time on the road. Can’t wait to come back for my 4th year next summer! See you guys next August!!

My wife and I stayed in the "Coyote" rustic cabin at the end of May. We loved it! The cabin is located right on the waterfront, with a dock to sit on and enjoy the view. Its rustic style and simplicity may not be for everyone, but for us it was incredible. In the kitchen they have plates, cutlery, glasses, pots, and pans. They provided a gas BBQ on our deck. Wood burner was great for when it got a bit cooler and all firewood provided. We just had to bring our own sleeping bags and pillows. Toilet was detached outhouse, which looked brand new and very clean. Notices were posted at the resort about their efforts to keep accommodations COVID19 clean and physical distancing in their office/store. Owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for a fun getaway!…

A day out fishing with friends. Wonderful weather and great sightings of herons and loons and ospreys but the highlight was the hooking of a 2 lb rainbow that gave a great account of itself and when it was just being reeled in the boat was almost grabbed by a loon under water that I first thought was a large turtle. Great excitement that was more rewarding than many great meals and many trips outside of British Columbia. The closest I have come to such elation and joie de vivre was doing the zip line in Oyama on my 70th in 2012.

Nice Beach - great for kids and dogs! Good for fishing, can rent kids kayaks, very reasonable and other items such as boats, peddle boats etc - rates are fair! Staff go out of their way to please the customer! Nice Sites, playground for kids, firewood was reasonable and dry and good to burn! Only downside I found, as I needed to work while I was there, no cellular service and wifi is sketchy and only available in certain areas. And the road up to the campsite is a bit nasty when hauling - lots of potholes and washboard but on our way home they were working on it! Overall a nice visit, weather was great and we needed a getaway!

Thanks very much for your review and constructive feedback. much appreciated. The Wifi problem should be solved within the next few days here, we think it will be more consistent in future. The road is an ongoing problem but also there we try to push the District of Lake Country to upgrade it, the only thing we can do is hope that the upgrade will be happening in the near future, as Road maintenance is unfortunately out of our hands. We hope seeing you and your family soon again up here at Beaver Lake Resort. have a wonderful summer.

The sites are a little bit close - not amazing privacy. But we spend most of our day down at the beach. Super cute with firepits on the beach and all. A little marina there and small convenience store. Great coffee. Bring off or mosquito repellent of some sort - they do have at the store ..but super inflated pricing. Nice kids playground and petting zoo. Too gravely for my kids to ride bikes...but still lots were. Very pet friendly.
