We had such a fantastic stay at Retorick Mill last weekend, this place is really unique. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they really make you feel like they are old friends. a big thank you to everyone for looking after us so well. I love the restaurant, our food was just amazing & then a live band. This... More

Retorrick Mill is a hidden gem in the Cornish countryside and we went to celebrate a friends 50th birthday for the weekend. We arrived Friday night to sleep in the chalets and although they are basic they are spotlessly clean. The bar and restaurant is amazing, very rustic and the bar staff are very friendly and extremely hard working. Friday... More

What a place, you might never experience another like it. The food is great and very different, the whole vibe is fantastic, but you might love it or hate it, we love it. My advice is, just embrace it for what it is and hang on for the ride.

What an unusual place this is. A mixture of chalets, camping and cottages make up this quirky holiday resort. We stayed in Mill Cottage which was basic but clean and a short stroll from the bar and brilliant wood fire restaurant, Scott and Babs. The food was delicious and plentiful and the atmosphere friendly and relaxed. The marquee outside the... More

We got married at Retorrick mill in June having visited and fallen in love with the place the previous year. It really is a little bit of magic in the valley. If you want room service and crisp linen then this isn't the place for you, but if you want amazing food, laid back atmosphere stunning surrounding, don't miss out.... More

Should have gone here last year but walked right past it. Hidden bar and restaurant in sheltered woodland. Food looked and smelt great in the open wood fired kitchen. Big outdoor seating area and really unique set up inside. Good priced drinks and check out the confessional shed toilets. Well worth a visit although it's worth booking if you want... More

This place is unique..... We've camped here every year for 4 years now and I relax and unwind as soon as I get here. The chilled vibe of the place seems to rub off on everyone who stays here. Wilf is a legend, and has somehow created this place and improves it year by year but also makes sure it... More

Retorrick Mill was the location for a 50th birthday party, so we stayed with other family in the various accommodation available. We were in one of the chalets. These are comfortable and stocked well enough for basic cooking, although we only had breakfast and lunch there. There is a small cottage and camping also available. The whole site is lovely... What an amazing place with self catering accommodation, caravans and camping, chalets and holiday cottages set in 42 acres of a valley up the lane from Mawgan Porth beach with its stunning Atlantic rollers. The beach is an exceptional walk from the site through wooded pine trees, streams and open landscapes to an unspoilt beach, ideal fro families and dog... More

This is quite well off the beaten track and you have to have the courage of your convictions and just carry on down that narrow country lane. You drive into a static van site and will see a marquee ahead, which is the entrance to the resteraunt. There are sofas tables and a bar, all very rustic and relaxed. Go... More
