Detailed Reviews
This was my second stay at the Blooming; my first experience was not so great, I got a very small room with no space to move around. During my second stay, however, I got a much bigger and more comfortable room, which allowed me to relax a bit more and enjoy the hotel more. In both occasions, I was there for business and in both cases I found the meeting rooms not that comfortable for a reason or the other. The coffee is drinkable, but by narrow margins. The food served at the restaurant is below average. The fish day they offer some pasta bolognaise (geez, can anyone use Google a find the right name for this very simple Italian dish?), which you could use for plastering walls. The dinner was meh. Overall average, I would not come back if not for business reasons

+1
Loved it here. Unassuming, quiet comfort. The facilities are good, the setting in a forest peaceful, and the breakfasts are phenomenal.
Ate dinner in the restaurant once. Was superb.
Bergen is about a 20 minutes walk away. Known as "The Hamptons" of Holland - you can see why.

Lovely hotel which is located in a beautiful green forest. The hotel has an interesting design and blends in with the forest. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. Rooms are bright and airy. Highly recommended.

So much disappointing hotel. Don't look only at photos which are misleading. For those who look for a garden , some shadow , air condition , some services , possibility to rent a bike for the day and top hygiene in time of Covid , better not to go in this hotel .
Only the design/ deco , restaurant outside and kindness of waiters are ok . This not a 4 stars hotel .

What a superb location!
At arrival we were received very hospitable by two ladies at the reception desk. As being real tourguides they told us a lot about the direct area of the hotel as well as the 'where to go's'. The room that we had is modern and well equipped, all necessary items are available. Thank you for having iPod dockingstations at most of the rooms as well as free WiFi! We have rented two bikes for a day to get around, afterwards we enjoyed our drinks at one of the (waterside!) terraces. Dinner at the restaurant is good, we loved the wines..
Bring your swimwear, because you can use the brand new swimmingpool and sauna. Due to it's location you could also decide to explore the massive (privately owned) forrest and dunes area. Route descriptions are available at the reception desk.
We've enjoyed our stay at blooming hotel and no doubt we will be back.. soon!

We arrived at hotel Blooming with our two small children, only to hear that our family suite was unavailable due to water damage. Apparently no one bothered to call us about this. The only room left was a room for two people, but with two kids that was not acceptable to us. The receptionists seemed more bothered with preventing a scene in front of the other guests then with the huge mistake the hotel made. We went back home with two crying children. They promised to make us an alternative offer but we never heard from them again. Apparently they really didn't care. We are never coming back!

We had a great time being at Blooming Hotel! We stayed for three days and we slept in a 'roomy room' which means the children had a boxbed (with television!), they were thrilled! All employees were polite and willing to make our stay unforgettable.
The food was good en last but not least: we have never seen a hotel in such a magnificent environment!

I loved my stay at hotel blooming! I wanted to get away from it all and it worked perfectly! Our room was big and clean and the breakfast was great. Off course the morning sun helped within this as well... I love the way blooming plays with text. 'Director of Happinez' on the sunchairs etc. Definitely coming back one day!

We booked a room Hotel Blooming. The beautiful design and location of the hotel was promoted at the website. However, when we arrived at the hotel and looked at the shabby carpet of the entrance, we already got a bad feeling. The reception gave us a tiny 'youth hostel like' room. After complaining at the reception desk we got a bigger (but also darker) room, but still in the same smelly and worn-out part of the hotel. The next morning, when we had breakfast in the new part of the hotel, we saw the beautiful new part of the hotel and we felt extra cheated. We have written our complaint at the questionnaire, but the only response I got was the debit notice of my creditcard. Very disappointing experience.

We had a spa-room (nr 1002 )on the ground floor with sauna, open doors to terrace, with a great view on the dunes. Very nice clean indoor pool next to our room. We stayed 2 days. Lovely beds, nice stereo system and great interior design. Great fresh breakfast in nice surrounding.
