Two nights at this hotel meant we could explore the area. It is not a beautiful building, and on a through road BUT the evening set menu, from a choice of three, was truly delicious both nights. The owners have been there 7 years and are still modernising so more to be done. Slightly quirky decor in our room, with... More

We stayed for one night but it was a very pleasant stay. Owners quite friendly, simple but original decor. Nice and large room (quiet), wi-fi connexion without problem, very close to Vezelay and a particularly delicious restaurant, not to miss ! Even if you don't stay, you can just have dinner, it's worthy.

We were a party of 6 (3 couples) travelling across the champagne region on Harley Davidsons to the Le Cruize area. The hotel itself is fine, the rooms were a bit small, but it was only for one night and what really made a huge difference was the quality of the food. The French really do know how to cook,... Not a bad hotel. Would stay again. One night stop on travel from Paris via Fontainebleau & Vezelay on way to Sancerre. 85 Euros including breakfast, Wi-Fi, very clean, staff semi-friendly--business-like. No air conditioning so ask for room off street, lots of traffic-motorcycle noises in morning. 5 min to Vezelay-good restaurants there.

It's a small hotel, about 12 rooms. Well kept, aesthetic, designed with lot of taste, clean, quiet. It is obvious that every detail has been thought and lot of aesthetic attention has been given. The owner and the staff are friendly and attentive, There is a free for guests PC on the corridor ( very rare in Europe ), free... More

We really loved our stay at this hotel! All of the proprietors/staff were friendly and helpful and were able/gracious enough to speak english to compensate for our extremely limited french. The restaurant offers traditional regional dishes of very high quality. It's only open for 1.5 hours per night so don't miss it! Prices good considering the quality. Breakfast was a... More

This is a nice little hotel with comfortable rooms in a very quiet little town. If you arrive before check in time be prepared to wait. We arrived early and although there was a person at the desk, he was extremely reluctant to open the door. This was very upsetting to the couple we traveled with and put us off... More

We stayed for 4 nights and had a very relaxing stay. Our room no 10 which has been renovated was very good value for money. The restaurant has a very good atmosphere. The food and service was excellent. Expensive but good value breakfast. Ample parking for cars and motorbikes. The Morvan region is well worth exploring. Interesting towns and villages... More

A well appointed and comfortable family run hotel situated in a quiet village close to Avallon. The standard of comfort and decor are high, particularly when one considers the excellent value for money. The hotel restaurent offers excellent cuisine in a setting which would be in keeping with establishments charging twice as much.
