I spent two amazing weeks in this fabulous resort in March 2014. It was the best holiday I have ever had. The resort is on a small bay (Samrong Bay) on the northeast coast of Koh Samui. It is enough far from the crowd of Chaweng, but it takes just 10 minutes to get into the center by car or... More

Lovely place for couples to relax. White sand and blue see, beautiful garden. Simple, nice and cheep Country bar 400m from the reception along the road uphill. To travel to Chaweng they provide the shuttle bus fot 100 baht.

We stayed one night at this hotel en route back from koh tao, thinking it would be a nice last evening in Thailand before flying home, judging from the photos on booking.com. Don't be fooled. The pictures as misleading and the place is not what is proposes to be. It claims to be a 3 star, but I'd only give... More

We were in Arayaburi at the end of October 2014. Good points: - great garden and well-groomed territory; - few people in the whole bay area; - white sand beach; - great view from the restaurant (at breakfast/dinner); - spacious rooms; - lovely pool; Bad points: - need to take a shuttle bus/motorbike/car to get anywhere; - not very modern... Lovely hotel, no faults. Perfect for couples and those wanting some relaxation. Food very pricey for what it is. Had better meals for less in the town. Room was incredible! Huge and clean! Had a fruit bowl delivered on the first day which was a nice surprise to! I was disappointed that it was a bit of a trek to... More

Friendly hotel on an isolated beach with wonderful view. Comfortable bungalow rooms, nice pools, great beachside bar! Kayaks and jetski hire on the beach. Breakfasts very good, restaurant ok, but not enough variety for more than a few evenings. Only a few minutes in a taxi to the main resorts - but taxi fares expensive for Thailand (min 400B, about... - price worth quality - great customer service but not very good English speaking skills but you can tell they are trying - on the beach (not a busy beach which is great for couples) and a beautiful view - restaurant food is really good but a bit pricey - the room/villa is sooo nice but the water is not... Avoid this resort like the proverbial plague!! Along with another couple my husband and I spent four days at Araya Buri. At first sighting things looked great; very pretty shrubs and plants gave a real tropical isle feel, the beach looked gorgeous and our chalets were at the Jacuzzi pool. We put our luggage in the rooms and wandered down... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on the way to/from Koh Tao - it's close to the airport (15 min drive) & Maenam pier (20 min). It's tucked away with not much around so we ate at the hotel - the food & drinks were very good! We had villa 206 (Deluxe)& 101 (Grand Deluxe on the beach) - 206... More
