Had the pleaseure of an overnight stay here. Beautiful setting with excellent rooms. The highlight was the restaurant though. The chef, Didier really produces stunningly clever dishes with excuisite tastes. Each course was excellent. The partridge was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend

A veteran of 400 plus golf courses this was just an opportunity to play a holiday game. The set up is impressive, the staff were friendly enough and it was relatively simple to book a round. The Chateau de Vigiers made for a scenic backdrop to the 9th and 18th holes both very strongly designed holes. Some of the holes...

We spent 2 nights here and thought the chateau was charming. The room was clean, comfortable and full of character and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately the main reason for our stay was golf and the course was very disapointing. We had dined here with friends on a previous trip and the 2 holes running up to the...

Dear Sir, I would like to thank you for your feedback on your stay at Château des Vigiers. I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the golf, from what I understood you found the course a little simple and not much variety. May I ask if you played all three 9 holes? The course is designed to...

We were in room 16 in the chateau which was beautiful. Absolutely perfect with a nice private terrace. We dined in les Fresques in the evening where both the meal and service were perfect. An ideal place to stay or to celebrate an event

Just returned from a three night stay in Chateau des Vigiers. A friend of ours was getting married a few miles away and this suited us for location. We had a great time - very comfortable and spectacular weather. A few hopefully helpful comments: The room We had a room in the main Chateau. This was suitably oldy-worldy with beams...

My wife and I stayed here two nights while in a Backroads Bike trip. The room was spacious with 40 foot ceilings and comfortable elegant furniture. The grounds surround a golf course so if you love golf you should enjoy this hotel. We eat both breakfast and dinner at the hotel and were very satisfied with both. Dinner was an...

Great place to stay Me and my wife stayed here 25 to 29 August whilst dealing with a house purchase 6 km down the road as we are NOT leaving EU. We didn't want to leave. Food, weather, location are all great. Staff are so helpful. We stayed in the actual chateau and the room was outstanding.

My wife and stayed at Vigiers in July. We had a very nice room in the main Chateau and were made to feel very welcome. The Michelin * restaurant was excellent and the Sommelier was very attentive without being pushy. The Michelin restaurant is shut on a Wednesday which was a shame because the Brasserie is average and the service...
