Between St. Emilion and the Perigord, you will find a charming guest house away from the hustle and bustle. You will not come to the Domaine Les Jourdis by chance because here everything is there to ensure you a pleasant stay in peace in a lively and warm atmosphere. The Domaine is built around a fortified house of the sixteenth century, in the middle of a park of 11 hectares and located in the heart of vineyards AOC Bordeaux, Sainte Foy and Bergerac. Restructured in the eighteenth century, in stone, it is surrounded by outbuildings, overlooking the valley of the Gravouse. These outbuildings, composed of an old honey house, stables and forge; form a square courtyard welcoming guest rooms and suites and a separate dining room.

Detailed Reviews
We had a couple of nights stay here on our way north and it was wonderful. The room was lovely, and beautifully decorated and the bed extremely comfortable. Antoinette the owner was extremely hospitable and helpful in particular as she served breakfast each morning and helped with any plans we wanted to make for the day. The gardens around the place are absolutely beautiful with what looked like a great pool which unfortunately we did not get to use as we ran out of time. All in all it’s a great place to just chill and a good base to the many vineyards in the area. The only one negative was the wifi which was very intermittent but probably adds to the ability to chill and switch off :-)

We stayed there at the end of September for 4 days. Perfectly located to visit St. Emilion and the wine region. We stayed there with our 3 years old daughter and it was the perfect place for here: a playground, a dog and cats walking around... And walnuts to collect.. The roomsnare stylish and cosy at the same time. Everything is there, even 2 bathrobes. Antoinette and Didier are really friendly and helpful: they give us advices on what to do and best places to buy things, example a backery selling macaroons(flavours I have never tried before).. We stayed 3 nights and we had 3 dinners: every night a surprice! Didier cooked for us canar, just delicious.. Antoinette prepared boeuf bourguignon and it was so tender and tasty. Desserts were also to good to leave them there... I think I took 2 kilos in 3 days because also the breakfast was so good : tipical French croissants and pain aux chocolat and home made jam, so much that we did not need a lunch.
Without doubts we would recommend to stay, specially if you hare taking you kids with you. We really enjoyed the time there and time allowing we will go there again.
Special thanks to Antoinette and Didier and also to Lorenzo and Matteo for the nice time we had there.

We stayed here for four nights and left a day early. Its a nice enough place and our room was satisfactory and only fair value. The rooms are located around a yard that has not been finished. Access is easy by car but not signposted from the village because the Maire will not allow it, so difficult to find. Breakfasts are good and anything you want you can have but we found it an ordeal being talked at by our hosts, which left us hurrying to get away. Nice enough but more expensive than some of the local 2 & 3 star hotels.
I am not sure I would want to return here as there nearest town, Ste Foy La Grande is a bit run down.

Response from Jourdis, Owner at Domaine Les Jourdis
Responded Aug 26, 2015
We have taken note of your comments, and now we have finished planting the flowers decorating our yard, we began a total renovation of the city of SainteFoy la Grande if you found ruined !!! We will then continue by total refurbishment of the department roads and towns of Bergerac and Bordeaux, and their accommodation, to satisfy you, because of the 66 hotels that you wrote on Tripadvisor, no one deserves the average and are still too expansive ! We can also reassure you, it also was a very unpleasant experience for us to support your continual criticism and your obvious bad faith, and we're not sure to welcome you again!

May I first thank our hosts, Antoinette & Didier, not forgetting there Dalmatian FIJI.
They have made there place exceptional. My wife & I where made to feel like old friends & if we needed anything it was supplied. On there land is a lake which they are intending to use as a fishing lake in the future, when some trees are removed as it is already stocked with fish.I wish them well with everything in the future.
We will return.

We had an amazing stay! Antoinette and her family were perfect hosts. The location is set in a beautiful, picturesque countryside . The accommodation is clean, modern, new, just perfect!
incl heated pool. Antoinette did everything possible to look after us and gave us all the information we needed about the area; suggestions of places to visit and recommendations of places to eat. Unfortunately she did not offer table d´hote when we were there, so had to go to Sainte Foy la Grande. Breakfast is delicious with many homemade jams, fruits from the area and fresh bread and croissants, cheeses, ham, eggs, cereal, yoghurt... all served on an outdoor terrace.
Only minus: the location being a bit isolated, the wifi did not work well.

This is the sort of place you dream of. Peace, tranquility in the middle of the beautiful French countryside. Immaculate room with spa bath big enough for two which is wonderful after a busy day wine tasting.! We had meals every night of our three night stay....absolutely delicious, better than any restaurant we have eaten in, all made with fresh local produce. Wine selection is all from local suppliers, excellent. Breakfasts also fantastic with different breads, croissants, lots of homemade jams, including banana, pear, fig, yogurts, fruit, eggs, cheese, ham. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Immaculate grounds and pool area. This place is an absolute credit to the owners, Didier and Antoinette, who have lovingly restored this place and could not do enough to make our stay perfect as well as advise on where to visit. We will be returning...not soon enough.
