Mery is a fantastic host, who takes care of you from the moment you arrive. About five minutes away from Concha y Toro the accommodations were a good spot to visit the wine country, while still being in a rural setting. The grounds are extensive with fruit trees and mountains in the background. The house is gorgeous and makes for... More

My husband and I stayed with Mery at El Magnolio for 3 nights in July. She was an amazing hostess - her food, accommodations, recommendations, winery and driver "hook-ups", and conversation were absolutely wonderful! Mery's breakfasts were abundant and more than satisfying (yogurt, fruit, cereal, pasteris), and the suppers she prepared (just let her know in the morning you would... More

We spent our first two nights in Chile here - it proved to be a wonderful place to relax after a long journey. It's a beautiful house in a quiet location, and Marie made us feel totally at home with great home-cooked food, excellent local wine, dogs to play with, a lovely pool in the garden and really comfortable beds... My wife and I stayed here for four nights near the end of our trip to Chile. We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and to enjoy the quiet days and cool nights. Mary was always ready to help us out with planning wine tours or adventures into town, and the breakfast and meals were fresh and... More

My husband and I spent four days at El Magnolio at the end of a six week trip to Chile and Argentina which were most enjoyable and a perfect end to a wonderful trip. Marie was delightful and she made us feel very welcome. Our room which was tastefully furnished, was very comfortable and Marie's home cooked Chilean dishes were... More

It was perfect, after settling in at the B&B we went for lunch at a local Italian bistro, and then for a ride through the area, including the picturesque town of Puente Alto, after returning we were offered a light supper and then we spend part of the evening in the company of Marie, the owner. The place is very... More

El Magnolio is the kind of place you never forget. This place is very linked to the owner, Maria. Maria has a great (and strong) personality and you maybe need some time to get used to. But after a while, Maria becomes a kind of “sun” of the house. All the rooms are really lovely and even if we usually... More

We stayed at the El Magnolio on the very last night of our 4 weeks travel in South America. The B&B is located on the outskirts of Santiago about 5 minutes from the Concha y Toro vineyard in the Maipo valley. Marie, the lovely owner, helped us arranged local cab pickup from the aimport. Like the previous reviewer, we arrived... More

We spent a heavenly 3 nights at this beautiful B & B. The owner and staff were were warm and friendly, a joy to be around. When we arrived at 11:30 in the evening, tired and hungry, we were offered hot empenadas and cold sangria. It was perfect. The bed was among the best we've ever slept in. We slept... More
