We booked a Buttermere plus chalet with hot tub. Upon entering the holiday Park it looked okay, however the further you venture into the park the more run down it looks and is in some definite need of some TLC. Our chalet itself was very basic but it was clean. The hot tub was clean and very good. The garden...

Great value holiday park. Friendly helpful staff and decent facilities. Farm park is a great feature. Pool was well managed (never too busy to enjoy) and clean. Great fun entertainment, brilliant for the kids. Our chalet was very clean, comfortable and great value at £198 for four nights in the summer hols (wish we had stayed longer). Food in the...

A great place for the family. Very happy with the location, amenities, facilities, food. Two weaknesses in my opinion: the cafe bar staff should serve faster and if they see a client waiting for over 20 minutes, they shouldn`t be passing next to them. The second one, is the hygiene of the toilet area/showers. All the rest, is fab.

This was definitely not for us. Booked a chalet instead of a caravan. Thinking,it would be a concrete structure. How wrong we were. It was a damp, rotten, wooden structure that was actually called a lodge. Every window frame was black and rotten to the core, some even had chunks of the wood rotted away. The net curtains along the...

Just back from a very very enjoyable weekend....... The most enjoyable part was Silloth the town.....it's a very very nice town and is well looked after. The big park/green is a great area with plenty of open spam for kids to run about and play. It has a few nice tea rooms and some shops but nothing for any shoppers...

we have just had a 4 night stay at Solway and we had a great time. we stayed in a lodge which was just perfect for us. it was immaculately clean and had everything we needed included (and more.) the resort itself is somewhat dated but we didnt mind because we found plenty to do around Silloth. i'd say Solway...

The site had potential but for the money being charged was a real let down. The facilities were very basic - we were touring - the pitches were poorly marked, very little hard standing available and the grounds generally looked tired and unloved. The toilets and shower block were extremely basic although some portal showers had been added to improve...

Avoid this place like the plague folks. Not only is it a dangerous place to take children, but it is absolutely filthy, if you ever watched Hi De Hi in the late 70's then you would think it had been filmed here. 5 star accommodation according to Hoseseason's well sorry but the kennels I left my 3 dogs in over...

Warm (despite the dismal English summer), bright and welcoming. Our chalet was perfect for us and consisted of a twin room, a double room, a living/dining room and separate kitchen. A flat screen tv and comfy chaise/l-shaped sofa was a welcome addition for the odd wet day. Not that we spent much time in the chalet with so much to...

I stayed here in July monday to friday. Great wee break. Don't normally do caravan holidays but my pal was taking her daughter and her pal so they invited me too. Lovely and clean caravan very close to the club. Good entertainment if you have young kids. We only went one night but it was a good laugh. Entertainment staff...
