If your looking for a place to stay when visiting family that's close to petit-De-Grat I'd recommend this place it worked good for us for our visit. The room was clean and comfortable slept well. Now if your looking for internet it doesn't work well in motel part or refrigerators they don't have any in motel part. And at this...

This was not a busy season for this area and therefore the place was very quiet. We went to a Celtic Colours Thanksgiving dinner at the Friends of Dame de l'Assomption. Then to a concert at D'escousse. Roberta helped us with directions. Enjoyed our chats with Roberta who does everything here. Some concert attendees had to drive more than 1.5...

Arichat is a small fishing village in an out of the way place, and this inn has been part of its history for a long time. The motel unit to the right is actually older than the main building, but we opted to stay upstairs in the main building with a view of the bay. It was the first "hot"...

First off when we were there there was an elderly lady running the whole place by herself, including the restaurant (cooking, front desk and waiting tables). She was having a staffing issue. Had she not tried so hard to make our stay the best possible my rating would be lower. Thankyou. However the truth is the room smelled of mold,...

Another great stay at L'Auberge for our annual sojourn to Cape Breton. We always stay in one of the upstairs rooms at the Inn - lovely view of the harbour, big rooms, tidy, clean and suits us fine. Keep things in perspective - Arichat is a small island community so don't expect 5 star city type hotels - L'Auberge is...

We booked this place to attend the funeral of a family member. As soon as we entered the motel we were received by a musty odour which stayed with us in our room. The hallway to the room was not lit and had to find the room with the assistance of my I-phone flashlight. Nearly stumbled over a vacuum that...

The rooms in the main building are very spacious, with very nice interior and ocean-view. Everything is old, but tidy and romantic. The breakfast is excellent, dinner as well. If on Isle Madame, we would allways chose this place again.

Arrived late and there aren't many places to eat so they kept the kitchen open at 8:45 pm and cooked for us. Had breakfast the next morning and it was good also. We stayed at the Inn part and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

We were recommended this hotel/motel to stay while attending a wedding in Arichat. The bride and groom had made block reservations for out of town guess. At first glance the place did not look like any pictures we had seen on the www.tripadvisor.ca and, even worse than the ones posted on www.cbisland.com those pictures must have been 20 years old...
