We spent one night at this lovely inn in July. The room was tastefully decorated and very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable! We both agreed we had the best night sleep. The hosts and the staff were all very gracious and made every effort to make sure we had what we needed and gave us recommendations for dinner. Breakfast was delicious, our compliments to the cook. Our stay was a very relaxing way to spend our last night after a busy week of sightseeing.
A RAVE REVIEW !! We would give the Harbourview Inn a 10-star review if it was possible! Greg and Belinda are the quintessential classic hosts. The inn is run in a very professional way. Every detail is wisely and carefully dealt with. Their receptionist, Adriana, is about as friendly as is humanly possible. Obviously she is a reflection of the careful choices that Greg and Belinda make. We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous inn and we will be returning there as soon as possible. We highly recommend this inn! BTW...There is a gorgeous Bay of Fundy gravel beach only a few steps away. Bring "lava socks"!
We had a truly wonderful stay and would highly recommend. Greg and Belinda are such friendly accommodating hosts who are also happy to share about their amazing world travels. The breakfast was very delicious and they were able to accommodate us as a group of 7. The property is gorgeous with beautiful landscaping and walking trails. The beach is only a couple minute walk away. Greg also provided many helpful recommendations on what to see in the area. We loved our time there and will be back!
Greg & Belinda, the new owners since 2020, have spent the past 2 years creating a truly splendid place to stay. It is exceptionally well appointed and maintained. Located in a quiet rural setting with a nice view of the ocean [just a 3 minute jaunt away , paths to walk in the woods, a very nearby swimming pool & tennis courts, a 3 minute jaunt to the waterfront, terrific grounds and just a short drive to Digby, one could not want for anything more. We will be returning for a longer stay.
Visited as part of a tour of Nova Scotia. We’re from the UK and visited before catching the Digny ferry Belinda and Glen the proprietors were genuinely interested in their guests and we’ll being which permeated through to their staff Excellent location close to the beach
Such a lovely place. Clean, nice room. Owners are terrific. Pool is wonderful, the old charm of this place is still in tact even with renovated rooms. Highly recommend if staying anywhere close to the Digby area. Bed was comfy, housekeeping was beyond expectations.
When my husband and I arrived at Harbourview we were greeted by innkeepers Greg and Belinda. They showed us around the well furnished and immaculate inn and shared a bit about the story of the inn. Our room was lovely, sunny, clean, and quiet. Bed and linens very comfortable. The gardens are beautiful - the short walk to the beach easy. We stayed three nights, and each day took a day trip to explore the area. Don’t miss Brier Island! Breakfasts were served graciously and with laughter - the food was delicious. All the staff at Harbourview were wonderful. Our charming and helpful hosts made us feel relaxed and we really chilled out! Definitely will make a return trip.
We stayed at this charming inn for three days in September. Everything was perfect from the accomodation to breakfast and the warm hospitality of our hosts Greg and Belinda. Would strongly recommend staying here.
I've been going to Harbourview for over 10 years. I have relatives in the area and I look forward to staying at the Inn. Owners are friends to me now. Love going and sometimes I go twice a year. See you in the spring.
In June I had the pleasure of staying at the historic Harbourview Inn B&B in Smith's Cove. It's the perfect location to explore some of the beautiful landmarks in the area - only a short walk from the Annapolis Basin (we could see it from the window in our room) where there's a sand bar that unearths at low tide, allowing you to wander over to Bear Island. A short walk along the rail trail starting just by the Harbourview that takes you to an abandoned lighthouse. Just up the road is Digby, with so many amazing seafood restaurants (we did take out and ate while watching the sunset at Culloden). Greg and Belinda were so welcoming! They have so many fascinating stories, and are just a pleasure to chat with. The breakfast was incredible! Just thinking about my eggs benedict makes me hungry again. The rooms are all recently redone and have all the amenities you need. The house has been a bed and breakfast since the early 1900s so it's a treat to stay somewhere with so much history. The street it's one is full of cute little cottages, so your morning walks are just lovely, and there's a pool that you can use as a guest. I've been twice now, and I'm excited to come back again!…
