A very nice place. Very friendly. The service was very good. The food was yummy and hot and out on the table in great time. Puddings to die for check out the desert stand has you walk in. All of the staff had smiles on their faces and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Very busy which is always a good...

We took our family for a meal on 27.12.16. The first thing we noticed was a dirty table which had been reserved for us. the table blocked a fire escape. The phone was stood 12 inches from our table and it rang incessantly. We waited ages and ages for our food without any apology. We were starving when it eventually...

This restaurant is ideally situated just off the main road from Mansfield to Nottingham. There is plenty of parking on site and Larch Farm is open for meals throughout the afternoon and evening. This was an absolute winner for us as we wanted food after the usual 2.00 pm finishing time that so many other places have in place. The...

We have stayed here overnight for an October weekend for the last 5 years. There are four rooms in an annex across the yard adjacent to the pub. Initially both the accommodation and the food in the restaurant was superb. Indeed in the past we have really looked forward to our visits. Not any longer though after our recent stay!...

Sunday, restaurant, lunchtime visit The place was grubby. Dirty windows, furniture that had seen better days, dirty cutlery, below average quality food, floury gravy, poorly presented meals. Menu all over the place. I'd chalk board specials randomly dotted around. No advertised wifi. Wouldn't recommend. Certainly will not go again

Went there last night with my wife as we were staying nearby. Looked nice from the outside and when we entered. From there it was all downhill I'm afraid. No one to greet us, we eventually were told to find a table and order at the bar (no signage). The printed menu was not good so we ordered from the...

I visit here quite often with friends. The pub itself is looking a little tired but the food is always good. If you're a fan of onion rings they are HUGE! World recommend this place. Reasonably priced too.

A 60th birthday meal with friends which we booked well in advance. We arrived and were given a table where two people settled only to be told we would have to vacate by 2.30, we were offered a different unlimited timed table and changed. I know it was a restaurant specialising in fish but the smell of fish was overwhelming!...

Larch Farm is easy to find in the centre of Ravenshead only 10 minutes drive from Mansfield or 10 minutes from Junction 27 of the M1. The restaurant is very busy especially with Retired people due to the special offers for 65+s but even for everyone else there is a good deal to be had. We have eaten and also...

Never been to this pub/restaurant before. First impressions were positive; nice bar area, oak beams, airy feel. Latch Farm offers an extensive fish menu with lots of choice from Grimsby. I was going to order fish but opted for a Sunday lunch, 2 roast beef and a roast turkey dinner. Sadly, the food arrived luke warm. It appeared to have...
