Stayed here for a few days before getting on Island Windjammers' tall ship Diamant. The place is old but very adequate. The buildings and grounds are well maintained. The pool is in great condition. The restaurant by the pool is closed but there are several good restaurants within about a block. There is also the Spiceland Mall practically across the...

It is not that bad and is a very nice hotel overall for what it is. It is not luxury and right on the beach ect. (read other reviews) but based on the stay of my family I would give it a 2.75. My father booked the hotel through expedia along with a flight for my mother for 2 people...

This hotel is staffed by some of the most pleasant people on the island. It is, however, one of the oldest and is showing its age. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. The towels and sheets are due for replacement. The restaurant closed and has no plan to reopen in the near future. The grounds are maintained...

I enjoy reading the "Poor" or "Terrible" reviews. Seems to me that those people are extremely picky and.... whiney. This hotel isn't a luxury hotel. It's obviously been around for a while. But the place nice. The lobby is attractive and the staff was super friendly. If you're friendly to the staff, you'll find that they'll be friendly back. If...

As others have stated, ABR is not a high-class resort, even a bit tired in appearance. If you must have infinity pools with swim up bars and granite bath counter tops, this isn't that place. If you want to be directly on one of the world's most beautiful beaches, have a lovely lap pool to relax in, enjoy a comfy,...

It's definitely an older hotel, but maintained very nicely. I wouldn't really call this a resort as the restaurant is not open, doesn't have a tiki bar, or other services. But it was only a one night pre & post a sailing trip stay, so it was fine for me. It was in a beautiful spot on the beach &...

First time out of the country and we chose Grenada. The hotel property is located on Anse Beach, the buildings themselves set back about 40 yards from the sand. Nice setting and nice location to everything you could need. The rooms are dated, the matresses could use updating, but overall it was not bad. Can't say enough good about the...

Stayed at the Allamanda in early September. It was a one night stay on route to Carriacou. This is a no thrills establishment with nothing particularly special to rave about. The plus points are it has a massive pool and is located splendidly on Grand Anse beach. Umbrellas bar is also located convieniently close by.

The country itself was beautiful and the people very friendly. The hotel was fair. The staff was cordial but not proactive with service or even greetings. There is no food or beverage service in the motel. I call it motel while it refers to itself as a Resort. The small coffee pot in the room did not work and I...
