The Allamanda is a welcoming place to stay. Clean, comfortable and well-maintained. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. We think the Allamanda is the best value for the price on the whole Grand Anse.

The Allamanda Beach Hotel is like home to us. Run by a wonderful family who treats their guests as family. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. The location in the middle of a 2+ mile white sandy beach and is perfect for swimming, walking, relaxing with friends who come back every year...or for snoozing under one of the large sea...

The front desk team was very nice but unfortunately even their warmth could not make up for the old and moldy feel of the place. The swimming pool was dirty and you could not go for a swim. It felt more like a motel than a resort. They give free breakfast but did not trust to eat it since the...

Just 50 m from the Grand Anse Beach thus good located for a morning swing in the warm Caribbean water, then a shower topped up with a swim in the pool which is just beside the breakfast restaurant which also operates in the evenings as a restaurant. Rooms standard, WiFi works well in the lobby but does not reach all...

The Allamanda has a prime site right on and in the middle of Grand Anse Beach which must rate as one of the best in the Caribbean. Bearing this in my mind then the price is reasonable when compared to the hotels adjacent to it. The staff are friendly and the process of booking in and out was handled very...

We stayed at the Allamanda for two nights, one each at the beginning and end of our sailing trip. The price/performance of the Allamanda for the area is spot-on. Rooms are large and well appointed (we had a king bed), and the air conditioning works very well. It's a short walk to the beautiful white sand beach (very lively), which...

We were pleased with our two night stay in July. We were on the ground floor and it was a little loud (wildlife, not people) but the room and staff were all great. The property is right on Grand Anse beach so we had paradise right outside our room. A great place to spend the day. We fell in love...

I last reviewed this hotel in 2009, and still believe it to be the best value on Grand Anse. The location is unbeatable as it it in the center of the hotel zone and very handy to restaurants, shopping and the busses at Grand Anse. Yes, it is quiet, but it is quiet in the center of an area filled...

This hotel was a lot more affordable than the really fancy ones, and it was quite satisfactory. The beach is out the back door. There is a nice swimming pool. The breakfast at the poolside restaurant was very nice (except that the coffee was instant rather than fresh-brewed).

I stayed at the Allamanda 3 days on either end of a trip on Windjammer Sailing Adventures, Mandalay. I booked through them and got a deal. The trade off was no breakfast but I'm a left coaster and not a morning person to begin with. The savings was better for me It was great to have such a nice place...
