Treat yourself to an exquisite visit at this well-managed hotel, Located just a short walk from the cable car to the ski area or into the services of the town. There are so many things that are way above average at this hotel. One is the food, truly gourmet dining. Another is the attention to detail. Although not having many English-speaking guests, all information was made available in English, which included a daily Report of available activities, weather, etc. This hotel provides a truly luxurious feel at an extremely affordable price.

Coming to Alpe di Siusi for a precious week on the snow we agonised over which hotel to choose. Up in the hill or this enticing brand new spa hotel right next to the Sieser Alm cable car. Both would have merits but we did not regret our choice to stay at the Sensoria Dolomites one bit. This is like a grand all inclusive luxury chalet with a wonderful spa, sauna and pool complex all in one frankly very reasonable price. 6 course fine dining dinners every night after a long soak in the pool and rest in the sauna after skiing. Exotics afternoon snacks await your return and a fantastic breakfast buffet send you off. The rooms are also super modern and stylish, the bathrooms are a modern delight and the room living spaces are spacious and modern. Super cosy duvets, choice of any pillow you can imagine. Nothing not to like. And then there is the staff. From the super friendly and attentive owners and front desk team to the wonderful bar staff and restaurant team everyone is trained and focussed on maximum guest experience personal yet not intrusive, engaged and always thinking and readying for your next need. Simply top class. We look forward to coming back again!

Some minor tips: 1) if bringing your own skiis and boots get a locker at the cable car station. This lets you wander up unburdened from the hotel in your comfortable shoes before a relaxing day on the hill. 2) if you want to drive up to the hill you need to be past the access point at the bottom of the road by 9am as they close it during the day to minimise traffic. 3) the hotel underground car park takes a 225cm high Defender so most vehicles will fit nicely.

We had a wonderful vaccation at the Sensoria dolomites.
The hotel is located in the most beautiful mountain area , which can be viewed from the pool and outside area.
The rooms are beautifully furnish and spacious and you can (for once) easily store your clothes.
The whole hotel is very thought through and
stylish , the atmosphere is calm and relaxing.
The food is exceptionel. and the staff will attend to your every need.
What made our stay perfect was the very friendly and always smiling staff and owners. We can only recommend at visit to the Sensoria dolomites.

We stayed two nights recently in late July. The staff was friendly but always a bit disjointed. When we checked in e were told out room was not ready and that the valet would bring our bags tot our room (as we set of hiking). We returned and our bags were not in the room..."your bags are not there"? We went for a swim in the beautiful pool but there were not towels. I went to the only attendant I could find down in the spa solon area and reported not towels, "There are no towels there"? Went to breakfast and to the nice buffet offerings, no plates. "There are no plates there"? On our last breakfast, the Maitre 'd asked us what selections we would like for dinner that upcoming evening", we check out today. Finally, we went to the parking garage and our car was blocked by an electrician's van. We stood in the car park for 20-25 minutes before the electrician could be found to move his van that boxed us in.
The room did not have any set of view and was located seemingly above a service entrance where the (employee would smoke and talk), the laundry and dock? There was a new building under construction just outside the room, and nail guns and noise started early. Finally the room had no air conditioning and no fan and was not comfortable. I would say, in spite of nice design features and a seemingly accommodating staff, unless you spring big and get the few select room that actually do face the mountain, there are better and cheaper alternatives in the area. Finally, whereas the breakfast was beautiful the rolls were stale every day and some of the items (such as cheeses) lacked a way to slice them (pecorino sp?, no grader, no knife).
The dinners were fine, but I would say, choices often seemed more 'experimental' than accessible, even though we are 'foodies' with a small "f".

A wonderful good afternoon, Thank you very much for your detailed feedback, which we appreciate thoroughly and first of foremost agree with you. Feedback like yours is always enlightening, even though we strive to picture a guests journey in our hotel in perfection, unfortunately we can never fully experience the stay with your eyes and senses. We are sorry, that we could not fully meet your expectations. As you may have known, we are recently opened and when you were visiting us end of July, we had a few weeks of full operating. Building up a new hotel within 8 months, asked for a careful planning process (almost 5 years) and all of us were eagerly waiting to open on June 18th. We subconsciously knew that it could become a little pumpy, more than 35 new team members, a lot of training and adjustments were implied before opening, however we knew that once we opened, it was not the final stage for us, and were constantly working on improvements in all the areas. My parents build up the previous hotel in almost 50 years, a lot of expertise, experience and trouble solving went into it. So, I may say, that new openings need some time to be fully operational and to acclimate. Of course, this shouldn't be resulting in a lack of experience or be an excuse for the happenings, but it might help you understand the situation especially for a complete start up in the first few weeks a little bit better. Additionally, also looking back after such heavy pandemic years in the hospitality business, where the mindset has changed, we even need a more accurate and subtle approach and training, whilst accommodating multiple new working attitudes and preferences. It will be a long journey and we are ready for this mission that we can solve together. After your feedback we immediately took some actions and sensitized all our staff, to avoid such experiences again. As well as your product related feedback. I can promise you that the claim we have chosen, lies within our DNA and we are eager to embark on this journey. It would be our pleasure to welcome you another time and to indulge you with our well-known hospitality approach. All the Best, family Oberhofer-Leitner Lea Oberhofer

We never write bad reviews but compelled to do so as time is precious and we all work so hard for our money. That being said, This place is all marketing, no substance. The ‘mountain’ hotel is surrounded by a road with loads of coaches and tourists and is situated at the base of the number one tourist attraction. This is not an oasis. Its a tourist trap. There is no expertise here. There is no real chef. The owner is the chef and he has no cooking skills. More importantly it feels like you are in a cult. No one is happy, there are weirdly positive quotes on everything from the sugar packets to the napkins to the menu to the room. We spoke to so many of the guests and they said they felt sad and disappointed with their choice of coming there. Obviously the only smart choice the owners made was spending money to promote the place. Stay in bolzano or lake garda. You will be so much happier. Happy travels.

Dear kkchampagne, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We value all guest opinions as they help us improve our services. Firstly, I would like to clarify that our chef is not the owner of the hotel. He is a professional chef with extensive experience in the culinary field, and we are proud to have him on our team. We were quite surprised to read your comments about the other guests you spoke with during your stay. We regularly receive very positive feedback from our guests, who often compliment our friendly atmosphere and excellent service. Your experience does not align with the majority of the feedback we receive, which makes your review particularly puzzling for us. Additionally, we noticed that you stayed with us for only one night. We understand that first impressions are important, but we regret that you didn't have the opportunity to fully experience what we have to offer. We always strive to create a positive and welcoming environment for all our guests. The quotes you mentioned are part of our effort to foster a cheerful and inspiring atmosphere, something many of our guests appreciate. Thank you again for your feedback. We hope that your future travels bring you the happiness and satisfaction you seek. Best regards, Simon Leitner Sensoria Dolomites

An amazing location, with an easy walk to the gondola for hiking in Alp de Siusi, next to a wonderful wooded playground with a small stream that our kids absolutely loved. Even with a number of suitcases it was a relatively easy walk form the bus station.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The meals were tasty and the staff very warm and gracious, even though we spoke little Italian (or German, which is common in the area).
Our friends had been several times before and we understood why they insisted we stay there. We hope to return for more alpine trekking and Ritterhof will be our choice!
We had a room in the back and could see the mountains from our balcony. Often the rich smell of pine and the sound of the rushing brook predominated (although sometimes the sounds and smells of cooking and deliveries were present, so perhaps the front of the building might be better?)

I cannot fault this small *star hotel. They should be used an example for all aspiring hoteliers - nothing is too much trouble, they are kind, the accommodation is perfect, the food wonderful - chef has a passion about food and we dined like Kings over the Christmas period.

Stayed for 1 night for a R&R session after a few days hiking around the beautiful Dolomites. I was greatly impressed by the level of service provided by the hotel. We unfortunately lost 1 of our bags on the bus on the way to the hotel and the staff went out of their way to help us find it. We are so grateful to them for their help, if not for their help the bag would never have been found.

After the stress of temporarily losing the bag, we were able to enjoy the facilities in the hotel. The room was very beautiful and clean, the afternoon tea and dinner served were delicious (definitely one of the best meals of our trip) and we loved the facilities at the spa. In the morning there was also a good selection of items for the breakfast buffet.

Throughout the stay we were made to feel very welcome and all our needs were well taken care of. Like other reviewers have mentioned, it felt like a 5-star hotel. Highly recommend this place, it's worth every cent!

Thank you Ritterhof team for the wonderful stay.

This is a boutique, family run hotel that excels in every way. Welcoming, friendly, beautiful with fabulous meals and afternoon tea. The location is superb - 4 minute walk to the cable car that serves the Seiser Alm area. Strongly recommend getting the Seiser Alm Gold Card with its 7 day unlimited access to cable cars and bus services around the area.

Assolutamente no!
