Hotel Bergidyll Tratterhof has an excellent location--near the end of the developed portion of Meransen/Maranza with a great view to the mountains. It is a twenty minute walk to the lifts to the Gitschberg mountain and to Muhlbach/Rio di Pusteria, where you can catch the regional train. The food and service, both at the front desk and in the dining...

Visited in early September, beautiful location in the alps. Fabulous for walkers as there are marked pathways close to the hotel and many other opportunities nearby. The hotel is family run and they appear to have great pride in their hotel and what they offer to guests. We noted many person touches. Spotlessly clean throughout, our standard room was large...

This is one of the best places I have ever been, and I do travel a lot. Everything was absolutely fantastic: the location, the cleaning, the friendliness of the staff, the food and the facilities. An add on is the Almen card: it gives you free access to public transports and museums. I was there as a solo traveller and...

we stayed (grandma, two kids and mother) in The Tratterhof for two weeks at Easter to ski, walk and relax, and everything was perfect. Nothing to say: the breakfast buffet is always refiiled and perfectly fresh, the staff is friendly and always helpful. The swimming pool is open from 7 AM to 7 PM. The saunas and spa are just...

We stayed in the Tratterhof for one week and found it to be one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The hotel is in an excellent location and is spotlessly clean and comfortable.
