Stay one night - got cheapish online. The hotel is in the beach area and most hotels and all restaurants bar one were closed. Request for upgrade to sea view politely declined ( I think there were three others at the hotel and we still managed to get someone bang on the wall) Bathroom unworkable layout - small Wi fi...

The hotel located not on the beach. Parking 50 meter from the reception. A bit strange design but modern and well take care. Helpful reception, small and slow lift, average but clean room (look for sea view on your stay) good breakfast. It's a very good hotel for it's class and location. I hope I will come back soon and...

We were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony and the views over the bay are stunning. The staff were warm and friendly and spoke good English, although it pays to try a little Italian, however badly! Particularly the night man, Peppe, was very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The rooms were clean and nicely...

Taormina is something of a tricky place to book accommodation for in winter. Did we want to stay up on the hill in the village and risk a few days shrouded in fog or rain, or was it better to stay at the bottom of the hill near the sea but then have a climb into the centre of things...

Our friend's wedding was at the hotel opposite so we were more concerned about location...but it turned out to be a great little place. We paid more for the large balcony, which meant we could sit out there and sun-bathe, play cards and drink wine. We thought it was really worth it as Taormina is generally v expensive it was...

Hotel Baia Azzura is a nice, modern hotel right across from the beach in Taormina. Great bar location overlooking the bustling main thoroughfare and bay, although the bartender's repertoire was somewhat limited. Clean well-appointed rooms, and very nice breakfast buffet. Would recommend the Hotel Baia Azzura when in Taormina.

This is a wonderful hotel! I have to admit after reading reviews , I was a bit unsure , well don't be! Housekeeping was amazing! Front desk didn't speak a lot of English but tried to help in any way they could and we're very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful , that cake!!! The views if you get an ocean...

Hotel Baia Azzurra can boast a wonderful location in Mazzaro, just down from Taormina, a few stairs away from the Baia Azzurra. The FuniVia (cablecars) to taormina are just around the corner. As the hotel was fully booked, we ended up in one of the smallest rooms. But it was clean, the bed was good. And it was compensated by...

We booked the room with sea views, and it was definitely worth it. The hotel location is great, close to the beach, and close to the gondola ride that takes you up into town. Hotel has parking available as well.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 10 nights, this is exactly what we wanted, it has amazing views, lovely decorations, clean functional rooms and a nice breakfast. The location is also great. It is situated on a coastal road, right next to the cable cart that goes to Taormina town (€3 each - one way) and within walking distance...
