We have just returned from travellers palm having stayed from 31st Jan until 9th Feb., there were no problems with the water as the local water faults appear to have been resolved. Talking to a local person while there they said the local water mains are short of maintenance just like the roads, this is not in any hotels individual...

We booked the Travellers Palm through Thomas Cook/Airtours in November 2016 and stayed there from 8.1.17 till 22.1.17. Nothing went right from the beginning of the holiday. The prepaid taxi did not meet us and 9 other families at Grantley Adams airport and we had to source and pay for our own. Upon arrival at Travellers Palm, we were advised...

Well....arrived here on New Year's Day after an 11 hour flight with my husband and two children, my daughter was unwell on the flight and needed to shower but guess what....no hot water. Spoke to management the next morning about it, we were told it was because it rained through the night which caused the solar panels to not work...

We booked months ago and have been coming for many years and had good service from the staff. On this occasion we arrived 21/12 to low pressure with water we said would be sorted. Arrived on 1/12/2016 and put in room 14, the following morning attempted to have a shower no water just a trickle and freezing, contacted reception said they were having issues with Barbados water authorites. The following day the fridge stopped working as too did the kettle. The fridge was replaced with a smaller scruffy second hand fridge and the kettle...

Travellers Palm has it's faults and yet I certainly didn't hate it, despite it reminding me in some ways of an apartment hotel in Turkey to which I gave a "poor" rating earlier this year. Worst holiday experience in Barbados! No water on arrival! Following day no water nor hot water for a shower! Had a cold Shower on the second day and the days that followed. Asked to be moved to another hotel but Rep could do nothing to help! Booked for half board - only eating area (small) is in the bar. meal...
