My other half was heading off on a boating holiday and after driving him to Ardfern I decided to spend a night in the area and stumbled across Primrose Cottage. What a find- very central , very welcoming hosts who were easy to get on with and made you feel very relaxed and welcome. Excellent local information too about where...

Due to an error in my planning I ended up in Ardfern without a room. I was directed to Primrose Cottage and couldn't have been luckier. Had a great nice sleep and super breakfast. I'll definitely return next time I'm in Scotland.

We spent two nights in Primrose Cottage and cannot fault it. The room was spotlessly clean, location great, breakfast very enjoyable and the hosts are lovely. Thank you to Mark and Topi who made us feel very welcome.

We stayed for two nights at the Primrose Cottage. It was a very comfortable stay. It was home from home. The bedroom was the size of a double bedroom we shared a bathroom with the occupants of the other upstairs double room. There was a further room downstairs. Breakfast was served to order between 7-9am. We sat at a dining...

Thank you for your comments, we're pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We were however concerned re your comment on sharing your shower room. All our rooms have private facilities and the other upstairs room (a twin) has its own en-suite bathroom, so their was no reason for the occupants to make use of your shower room. Many apologies,...

Two genuinely welcoming hosts, while equally not intrusive. Great freshly-cooked breakfast, freedom to come and go at will (which was helpful as I was on a boating course that finished after 11pm), comfortable very clean room, free Wifi. All told **Excellent** - many thanks for a lovely stay Mark and Topi. (Note to Trip Advisor: would be helpful for this...

Excellent location for touring this part of Scotland or use as a stop off prior to getting a ferry from Oban or travelling on to Skye. Very quiet location with evening meal either available in village or just a short drive away. Good...

Topi and Mark are natural B&B hosts with a very friendly welcome and attention to detail. They were all too happy to help in whatever way they could. The house is ideally situated in the middle of the village, close to the pub (for evening meal). The rooms are fine: clean, tidy and well presented. Breakfast is around one large...

This house has a comforting and relaxed atmosphere, which reflects the friendly and welcoming hosts, Mark and Topi. The room was clean and cosy, and the house in general was very homely. My first experience of fried bread as part of Topi's delicious full breakfast was a joy. And Fatty the cat has two new fans! Would definitely stay here...
