Great resort. Definitely a unique experience, the resort had many cultural artifacts in the hotel. Service was exceptional, kind employees, waiters, and room service. We felt very honoured we could stay here with our reactive dog. Because the owner has a dog by himself, there was a lot of understanding for our situation. Like he said: no problem.
The food in the restaurant came quickly and was delicious! Typical Albanian portions! You definitely have to try the bruscetta overhere! The waiter was modest and very friendly. The manager of the hotel, who's speaks not only English but also Italian, is the definitief of Albanian Hospitality.
Rooms are big an clean. A lot of parking place. Overall the resort has a lot of ambiance!

Lovely ambiance, reflecting the traditional Albanian design. We paid a short visit and only had lunch, as the beach is a bit further away (1km), and we wanted to be closer to the beach. Great staff, very polite and friendly. The food was DELICIOUS! I would highly recommend. Worth visiting, especially if you want to feel the real culture of Albania.

We have enjoyed our stay at Ara e Vjetër Resort. Staff is super friendly, very quite environment for people who want to relax. Rooms were cleaned although you had to ask to clean them. The resort itself was cleaned on a daily basis.
Food was delicious and fresh on a daily basis and coffee espresso was included on a breakfast, no need to pay extra.
The property beach is bit far from the resort (I knew it) but you will enjoy it, it's clean and they have nice restaurant there as well.

We stayed for 5 days in August in
Ara e Vjeter, the resort is in a quite area and only 5 minutes drive to the beach.
The villas are clean, very large room
They offer laundry service, the restaurant is located in the middle of the resort
There is a dining area around a beautiful pool
Now the best part, the manager Edi and his team
Essi and Martinela , they are exceptional
They do their job with some much pride and smiling faces, always happy to help
The food is organic and locally sourced
Overall a fantastic place to stay for holidays
Can’t wait until next year, we will most definitely come back .
