First I booked this hotel for my parents and little sister that were coming for my wedding in middle of July from Poland. I haven't been in Velipoje before, so I didn't know what to expect, but overall look of place that you can find on internet tells you that it's not far away from the beach, tidy, has air conditioning (very important in Albania summertime!) and Wi-Fi.
When i visited the place to see my family we had dinner in hotel restaurant which was very nice (i had sea bass and greek salad which both were excellent). Me and my husband decided to stay there week after for 4 days, hotel made good impression. Food is great, there is plenty of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner - I think everyone can find something for themselves. Drinks offer is also quite wide.
Rooms are spacious, clean and have all of the things (fridge, Wi-Fi, air conditioning) working. Just the TV was a little disappointing since the signal was very poor and most of channels were impossible to watch. But on the other hand - who comes to seaside to watch TV? Only thing I would change would be lack of toiletries like soap. There was only two sachets of shampoo in bathroom and for 4 days stay it's definitely not enough.
Some of the staff speaks English and the owners make sure that when they get customers from abroad there is someone to communicate with them, which was very helpful since my parents don't speak Albanian. There was a waitress that we spoke the most to and I would like to thank her for help with translating things for my parents and also for finding large room for my husbands family when they wanted to visit for one night. That girl with black curly hair was the best :)
Free parking is available which makes things even easier. And most of rooms have balcony.
