I only went there to get a coffee but the lady took a while to make them. She was very kind but a bit slow. The coffee was nice though. I didn't book a room there but the hotel seemed nice so I'll probably book it next time. The prices for the drinks are reasonable.

I stayed here 3 nights. It was really clean and tidy with a good view towards the beach. The owners were good and the breakfast was absolutely excellent. The selection was great, I filled myself up every day. I enjoyed my stay here, galissas is a great place where everyone talks to you and makes you feel welcome.

While in Galissas we stayed at Maistrali Hotel, a small family run property. Our room cost us 90€ for 3 nights and it was a great value. Located directly across from the beach, small balcony at the back and breakfast buffet every morning for an additional 5€. The bathroom was good but the beds were really hard, as in one...

Really friendly, helpful, authentic Greek accommodation. The room was well serviced and the location was excellent for the local beach and other facilities. The buffet breakfast was fresh and good quality. I particularly liked the way the food was covered with plastic lids or foil to prevent the occasional fly from settling whilst I wasn't looking! Choice of eggs, ham,...

Hotel with a very nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly (which is the family running the hotel) There is a view towards the sea, but the scenery is a bit spoiled by the electric wires in the street. Galissas is so small that everything is kind of nearby. The bed was rock hard. I mean the type were you...

Being the first stop on my Greek island adventures Syros was the complete opposite to what my friend and I had expected.. Staying near the beach was a good idea, staying at the Maistrali was a great idea. The family run hotel with friendly faces and the homely feel made me feel welcomed and relaxed. Literally a stones throw away...

Excellent location, service, hospitality and price-value offer. The beach of Galissas is beautiful and buses are serving people want to visit other places of the island. Don't forget to visit the chapel of Saint Stefanos, 10 minutes by car plus 30 minutes walking from Galissas. Many thanks to the two girls in the reception and the owners (daughter included). Many...

Have literally just left the island of Syros and feel it is necessary to review our accommodation on this island. Maistrali Hotel is a family run hotel right in the centre of the relatively small village of Galissas. It is directly across from the beach and literally minutes walking to all of the tavernas and amenities offered. The accommodation is...
