I spent 6 nights at La Fornacina Country House with my 13yo daughter, end of June/beginning of July. We were fortunate to have 1 room on the main floor. The overall experience was amazing and I have to applaud Layla, our wonderful hostess/owner. She went out of her way to show us towns, treat us like family and make our...

Wendi thanks for the kind words that you gave to my house, you were a wonderful host with your beautiful daughter. I hope to have you our guest again in the future.

I spent a week at the house this summer (2014), together with my family, parents and siblings with kids and spouses, all in all 15 people. It is an old house, with all those litte features that old houses tend to display, some creaky stairs, a few cracks in the floor tiles and some other things that you wont find...

Dear Mathias, was a pleasure to have you as our guests, your beautiful parents were very good at forming a family like yours. Offer a pizza in the middle of the night is part of the magic of Fornacina. I know you will come back, and I'll be happy to see you again.

I planned for this trip several months in advance and I did plenty of research before choosing this house, by the way I'm Italian living in the US now for a few years. I travel a lot around the world for business, so I'm not new to this. What the photos and video shows on their website is not even...

I will also place this review under the other name listed here in Tripadvisor: "La Fornaccina". Pictures are included! I do not know where to begin so let me start with the positive since there is only 1- the views....finito! The house is listed as a rustic farmhouse with ALL the amenities of a hotel. We’ve spent 3 days (weekend) at La Fornacina in July 2011. We were traveling thru Tuscany and Veneto for 2 weeks and we were looking for a peaceful and quiet place to spend a weekend far away from the crowded Florence and Venice. We couldn’t choose a better place. I loved our room and the dining and leaving space of...

We have just spent three perfect days at la Fornacina (February 24 to 27) and we are quite puzzled by the previous review. Are we talking about the same place? The owner of the place gave us a very nice welcome, we had asked for a vegetarian dinner and we did get indeed a delicious variety of vegetable dishes. Our...

I traveled with a friend of mine. Me, a vega-yoga-chakra girl, and him - a bistecca fiorentina lover who'd never been to agriturismo before. We chose this place by chance, wanting to spend a couple of days on the Terme di Saturnia. The reality exceeded all our expectations - the location is perfect to feel relaxed surrounded by nature, but close...
