Our first stay at an &Beyond hotel. The view of the dunes was amazing. The staff are very attentive and the hotel is excellent. Everything during our stay was perfect. I feel that the meal choices could be better.

The AndBeyond Desert Lodge in Sossusvlei is an absolute gem of a hotel. The vast valley stretching out before it offers a mesmerising caleidoscope of colours as the light changes from dawn to dusk. The rooms (individual lodges, really) are well-appointed and stylish. Most important however is the meticulous attention to detail from the staff, who look after your every...

Had a really great trip here and the &Beyond team really live up to their name. Great location, lovely rooms and plenty of activities to keep you busy. Staff are brilliant and even had one of my best massages ever here!

The great thing about this lodge is its location. The views are outstanding. They have their own special red dunes. I realized when driving around the area that you'll find all the better lodges on the west side in an area with dunes, while those on the east side have more mountain views. Be aware! Pros: - Location!!! - Anton...

We stayed at this andbeyond lodge for three nights. It was a great experience. The bungalow is very beautiful furnished and you also have you own terrace to relax. It is VERY quiet and you can watch zebras and other wildlife from your terrace (do not forget to bring binoculars). Food and service was even for andbeyond extraordinary. We would...

After a stay at Kulala, as dark and dreary an ambiance as I have ever experienced, this is truly a breath of fresh air. Bright and well lit. A/c in the rooms. The customary service and amenities I have experienced with &beyond, I highly recommend Desert Lodge for any visitor to Soussesvlei

andBeyond did it again in delivering another wonderful safari, this time in the Namibian desert. We cannot praise the excellent staff enough at this lodge. Everyone made sure our vacation was perfect and something to remember. From Grant and Fatima managing the lodge, Hilma, Elina, and Elissa taking care of us throughout the day, Georgia ensuring we got a relaxing...

with our kids 12 and 14 years of age we spent four days at this magnificent lodge. The architecture of the buildings melts with the surrounding rocks and the desert sand. The walk to the bushman paintings was definitely a highlight for us. On the other side there was nothing prepared for kids at all. For example to explain and...

A beautifully designed lodge with every comfort on offer and the most staggering views. What a wonderful place! it didnt seem that attractive from the plane at first sight, but when you reach the property, it is wonderful. beautiful decoration, very quiet, in the middle of nowhere which gives you peace and space! all the 'chalets' are facing the vast plain of desert and have a lot of privacy with some outdoor terrace. the...
