We stayed here for two nights and found the people very, very friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the lodges, the view, the quiet, the meals. On one of the nights, the staff performed some dancing and singing. I would have stayed longer if I could! We went on the trip to the Sand Dunes. Absolutely amazing. A lovely place!

We were met on arrival by an engaging and friendly member of staff called Anna. She set the scene for what was a very enjoyable 2 day sejorn. The Lodge is set in a stunning location and the rooms were everything we could have hoped for and more, but what really made the stay was the genuine hopitality afforded to...

Thank you ZororoRetreat for your beautiful review and kind words for Anna and all the great staff in camp. Little Kulala Desert Lodge os nothing short of fantastic. We were there for one single night to visit the dunes in Sossusvlei, and chose this place since they have an own entrance into the park, which gives them the possibility to get to the dunes before the visitors from the main gate do. We were welcomed and introduced in a...

This was our first stop in Namibia, and we loved it. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was good, and the lodge itself was clean and comfortable. The views from the lodge and surrounding area are amazing - perfect for sundowners, and the trips / guides fantastic. Thank you!

Main highlight is the position, facing the dunes and 5 mins driving from private gate. Highly recommended to take the FI option which includes all meals with drinks and 2 activities since this is the only way to have access to the private gate. Even though the price is high, the private gate guarantees to be on the dunes before...

We had a fabulous time here at Kulala desert lodge. The staff made us feel so welcome, special mention to Stella, Rosalia, the boss and Matthew who took us on a hugely fun and informative trip to the dunes and a rather windy but fabulous sundowner. The Oryx fillet was fabby, you will get a lot of this in Namibia...

Dear BPGers, Thank you for sharing your recent experiences at Kulala Desert Lodge. We are delighted that despite windy conditions and a rather erratic wifi signal (which can happen in these out of the way places), you had such a marvelous stay with us. We recently visited Namibia for two weeks, staying at three high end resorts including two nights at Kulala Desert Lodge in Sossusvlei during our holiday. Our reservation was made many months in advance through Discover Namibia Safari & Tours, who recommended this property. Sadly, while this was the most expensive of the luxury properties we tried, it was also the...

Great location, great view. This was our first lodge in Namibia and we stayed 3 nights : we enjoyed every moment, from looking to the stars, the beer(s) during our eveninig drive to 'big daddy'. Kulala Desert Lodge This lodge is a busy one! The "tented" units are stretched on each side of the main building. A stony pathway leads to the units. Each unit is spartan but comfortable with great views of the Desert. The hot water is solar heated so the best time for a shower is in the early evening. If you...
