Very nice guesthouse right outside Hofn, surrounded by the wild, beautiful countryside. The room is comfortable and cosy, super nice especially in the winter. You can use a small kitchen (very useful). There's 1 bathroom only for two rooms, which is good/bad depending on the other guests. We were not very lucky as we had to share it with a...

The room and home is very clean and quiet, and it's in a good location not far from Hofn. However, the whole time we felt as if we were intruding on a family home. We felt like we had to stay in our room with the door closed our entire stay. She also seemed to want our money asap which...

Nice little guesthouse located in the basement of a residential house located a few minutes out of the city center. Nice views in the back of the house with horses. Only 1 bathroom. I highly recommend to go walk along the fence at sunset.

Very nice place. The owner was ready to meet us as we were pulling up in our car and explained everything. The kitchen was well equipped (no communal food - left over pasta, tea, coffee etc). No door - understandable so as to not isolate people, however it got a bit noisy, as a place with 4 other people would....

It is a small basic guesthouse with around five rooms. Our room seemed to be newly built and was very nice and clean. It is a shared bathroom guesthouse but also the bathroom with a shower was very nice and clean. We didn't know that they serve breakfast as well (extra fee). The owners were very nice to us and...

The guesthouse is an extension on the back of the main house of the property. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is shared by 3 rooms and there is a small kitchen that we used for coffee in the morning. The lady who greeted us was friendly but we didn't have too much interactions. The guesthouse is located...

Apparently they have had a few units "downstairs" available by Booking.com for 4 years. The room we stayed in was one of three that are upstairs - in their house proper - which can only be booked by contacting the owners directly - by phone or email (we booked by email in advance, the other two booked the same evening)....

Nice littue guest house in a farm. Agree with all previous reviews. Highly recommended if you have your own transport. We shared one bathroom with a couple staying in the other room. Kitchen seemed to be well equipped (although we did not use). There is a nice lake in front to watch birds, and very friendly goats in the field...
