We spent our last 2 days in the Yukon camping at 6 Mile Resort. We were in need of down time after driving the Golden Circle and before tackling the Alcan. This place was perfect! Hubby decided to spend an afternoon fishing and I an afternoon on the deck with a book. On our last night we ordered pizza and a bottle of wine. Omg this pizza was the best I ever tasted. All homemade! Hats off to 6 Mile Resort!

We loved the 6 Mile Resort. The owner (Doug) owned a Shovelhead 1972 and they were extremely friendly and nice to us. His wife made some of the best Coconut Shrimp I've ever had and after a long day of riding it really hit the spot!
While we put the shrimp away, she prepared some homemade burgers with fries. She made her own buns and cooked while we watched! AMAZING!
Our room was simple cabin built in 1910 with 'real calendar' from 1898 hanging on the wall. No Cable TV, but we were so tired we crashed immediately after dinner and a cold drink!
The bathrooms and showers were very clean and modern (up to date)!
We left early next morning, but Doug made a pot of coffee so we could start off on the right foot!
Thanks for a great stay! One of our most memorable spots along the road to Alaska!

We were traveling by motorcycle and did not have a place to stay. Scotty, a dear friend of the owners called Mitch and she was able to reserve us two cabins and even hold supper for us. When we got there, the power had gone out. She and her husband held steady, said,”you all need a beer..” Eventually, the power came back on and our pizzas were served. The food was amazing. Our cabins were quaint and after a rough day, just what we needed. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. A most beautiful way to start our day and continue our adventure.

Always a great place to be, it is so nice to be greeted by a smile! We are Yukoners and proud to show off our beautiful territory. We used the campsite this time around peaceful spot on the river. So much to do in a quiet restful place from horseshoes to fishing.
We ordered appetizers to take back to our campsite try the baked brie & the crab dip went well with what we had brought, but was so good we ordered pizza to bring them home the next day. One came to Haines Jct & the other two traveled the Alaska Hwy back to Ft. St. John.
Thank you again for that perfect place to be!

Absolutely loved this place!! The view on the river is beautiful, there are plenty of room for the RVs, the owners are delightful, there are two very clean showers and toilets… after a few weeks on the road, it’s all the calm and comfort you need!! We liked it so much that we came twice in a few days. We didn’t have the chance to try the restaurant though… so we’ll have to come back gain 😊 Hands down the best RV Park we went to in Yukon!!

My brother Greg and I have been on a motorcycle trip for 7 days and rolled into Tagish looking for a camp site. Oh did we get sooo much more the amount a place to sleep. Doug, Mitch and of course Mary ;)
What a great place to sit and appreciate people for who they are salt of the earth great folks. We couldn’t have be made more at home anywhere.
Our great thanks to all.
Make reservations, we got lucky!
Oh and look up at the top of the power pole on the corner of the camp area, you may see a Bald Eagle.

Mitch & Doug opened a cabin just for us a week early. They shared their evening meal with two weary motorcycle riders and we had a wonderful time. You cannot go wrong with this lodge. Beautiful setting.

We had booked the resort months in advance , we went for lunch a few weeks ahead of time to see we're we where going to place everyone they told us we had the place to ourselves but the restaurant was open to public which was fine. The day we arrive two sites where created and where taken without emailing or telling us that we where going to share the camp sites not to complicate things I let it go. 3 days in our trip a family member of my group was called an idiot from the owner, things where said on both sides but I believe the owner of this resort could of handled this situation professionally then shouting out names. It was a very bad experience we where lied to from the moment we arrived and was told to leave a day early I will never go back to this resort I will tell everyone I know not to bother very bad service very disorganized person and not professional.
