We stayed in Navotua Village for a full week and had an enjoyable stay that we will treasure for a lifetime. The people in the village are very friendly and the homestay guests are taken care of by Mela and Thyma who are there for you whenever you need anything. As long as you don't expect amazing food (lots of...

We stayed with Mela for a week in July this year. It was an amazing experience. Mela and her family were so welcoming and our kids loved playing with the other village children and going to spend some time in the school. The Bures are in a great position right by the beach and are clean but basic. The beach...

The village is set in the most amazing location with gorgeous views north to Cave Island. The Bure's are comfortable and right on the beach. The villagers are genuinely friendly and will make your stay memorable. We ate a variety of traditional food with different families every lunch and dinner. A truly memorable experience. The money helps the village enormously,...

The Yasawas islands are incredibly beautiful and Navotua village, situated on a lagoon, has lovely views. The bure itself is cozy, although one does have to be careful not to have anything edible in there as, well, the slightly warped door allows for nocturnal visitors. The boat ride to and from the Yasawa Flyer can be long, but it's worth...

We have been lucky to spend a few days in Navotua Homestay, in a bure just in front of the main beach. This is not a luxury or resort accommodation, but if you want to experience a bit more of the Fijian culture, this is the way to go. Meals are prepared by a different family each time. This way...

I'd like to rate perfect, as staying in this kind of local village enterprises really makes so much sense, and Navotua is very nice, - however few matters require ironing out. Firstly, this is not a budget option when you count in the transport cost, first by ferry from Denaru to the archipelago, then a small boat pick up to...

Bula Janos! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I'm happy to tell you that we decreased the transfer costs as much as logistics allows: as of March 2016, the transfer fee is only $F 70 per trip regardless of the number of passengers in the boat. In case there are two reservations on the same check in/out date, you are...

Navotua village was a unique experience in a fantastic location. My friend and I stayed for 2 nights. Getting there via boat ended up being more expensive than we had budgeted for, only because we were hit with a $80FJD charge, each way from the Flyer drop off location. We had not been told this in advance during time of...

Dear Reno, I'm happy to hear that you had a good stay in spite of the cash difficulties. Please note that due to remoteness of Yasawas, fuel and boat rentals are expensive. The boat captian asked you for immediate payment in cash for your transfer because this taxi boat is his own service. He comes from another village. The online...

We stayed in Navotua for five days and had a very different Fiji experience. If you like adventures and non touristic experience, Navotua is an ideal destination. The people in the village were very friendly and pure. Each family took turns preparing meals and we had a lot of seafood freshly caught from the sea. There's plenty of good place...

The village is well kept, clean and taken care of with pride by the villagers. It is safe to visit with kids as I came with my 5 year old girl and she loved it! She chased chicken around, enjoyed swimming and walking along the beach looking for crabs and starfish feeding there, swang on the swings, etc. Kids really...
