#1 of 2 B&Bs / Inns in Bacolet Bay
Breathtaking is an understatement for this luxurious Tobagonian hideaway. This exclusive resort is built on a stunning 4.5-acre beachfront property, dotted with lush coconut and almond groves. Nestled into the beautifully secluded Bacolet Bay, the suites offer stunning panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and nearby Bacoley Bay. This delightful club is committed to providing guests with luxury and personal service. Its intimate size encourages a particularly warm and family-friendly atmosphere, which has been fostered by its owner’s years of travel experience strutting the international catwalks across Europe. The resort’s 50 ocean-front suites have been styled to reflect a cross-cultural aesthetic; Asian-inspired silk elements blend nicely with curlicued pieces and modernist fixtures in a chic manner. Throughout the rooms, the balance with nature is very evident. The airy interiors are filled with luxurious details, such as delicately beaded lamps and grand, silk-covered chaise

This was my second stay at Bacolet Beach Club. The first time was in 2019 for a girl’s trip so I really wanted to go back with my partner. He booked a package for us as my birthday gift. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. The package was inclusive of breakfast and lunch with a complimentary massage for 1. I could notice the difference between my stay pre pandemic now but they did a really good job at maintaining all their facilities. The pools were exceptionally clean and felt pretty warm, even at night. The room was spacious and the beds facilitated a really comfortable night’s sleep for my partner and I. Breakfast was good but the real star of the show was the tuna they made for lunch. It was amazing! The massage was very relaxing, the masseuse made sure that I was very comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and everyone adhered to restrictions placed due to the pandemic. All in all an exceptional mini vacation, even during a pandemic. We had fun, so much so that we barely took pictures. Best birthday gift ever!

My wife and I booked four nights to celebrate St. Valentines. We booked a breakfast/dinner package. We flew in from Trinidad, and our flight arrived at 9:00 pm, so, after renting a car, we checked in at the hotel at 9:45. A few days before our flight, we notified the hotel that we would be making a late check-in and gave them advance notice of our arrival time. The fact is that, even though their website states that the restaurant was open until 11:00 p.m., when we arrived we were told that it was already closed, because of COVID. So, no dinner for us, and no place to find something to eat. At the end of our stay, when we went to pay the bill, we requested a refund for the dinner we had not received. The response we got is that it was not their fault that we had come when the restaurant was closed. Other than that incident, the stay was ok, except for breakfast; it was served from 8:00 to 10:00, but by 9:30 a.m., when we normally arrived for breakfast, there was little left on the buffet table. I don´t know if COVID had something to do with the lack of variety and poor quality of breakfast, but they need to improve on quantity and quality. A separate issue, we noticed that the ladies cleaning the rooms never wore masks. Guests have to wear masks all the time, but the staff doesn´t? Finally, during our stay, hotel management decided it was a good time to paint, so most of the time we had to avoid recently painted areas, but still had to cope with the smell. If because of COVID they could not do maintenance, I am sure they could have planned other days when there were little or no guests to do the painting. Occupancy was somewhat high during the St. Valentine weekend, I think it was the wrong time to schedule a paint job. The staff tried to be helpful in every other respect, but I have to say that blaming everything on COVID is not a good management practice if the hotel wants to attract old and new customers.

By far one of the greatest I've visited. The food is really great and the calls for breakfast, lunch and dinner was greatly appreciated. 🙂- Pools was always clean, hotel is private, friendly, great customer service, bathrooms are well stocked and very hospitable ☹- rooms could have been cleaned everyday, balcony was dirty with alot of bird droppings.

Service at the hotel was good, they changed our room because of poor internet quality. The beds are very firm and just our backs but otherwise room was okay. Restaurant service was very poor, got all our meals elsewhere.

My hubby and I recently took a mini-vacation and choose Barcolet Beach Club for our stay. It was one of the best decisions we made, as the hotel was full of unexpected surprises, amazing lush scenery, and impeccable service. We received a complimentary room upgrade, which was very large, clean, and comfortable, with an amazing view. The WiFi connection was excellent and consistent throughout the hotel. The location was nothing short of beautiful, with a mini bamboo cathedral over an idyllic walkway, which made for a very romantic setting when we strolled to our meals every day. Meals were hearty delicious and filling. Housekeeping was on point, and we noticed the constant sanitizing being undertaken during the day, by the housekeeping staff. We would like to say special thanks to the following individuals they are worth an honorable mention for their stellar service. To your reservation team, and to Renee whose display of tact and professionalism was truly appreciated. Renee your intervention regarding the dinner mix-up was excellently handled and it was a perfect example of customer-centric service. To Natalie and Hector, thank you for your assistance and provision of information, I would also like to commend you on your fantastic command of the English language. To the entire team at BBC we extend our heartiest gratitude to you for making our stay comfortable, enjoyable, and hassle-free. We look forward to returning. We highly recommended Barcolet Beach Resort
