Stayed in Hotel Caribe for a week - beautiful lakeside location. Staff, especially Angelina and Riccardo, very helpful and pleasant. Room spacious, hotel very clean, breakfast content and service excellent. All safety precautions being taken at this time re masks, sanitiser stations, social distancing. Only downsides, and they are small, is that the location is a little out of the way without a car. Bus stop is very convenient, located beside hotel though service very limited at present. And limited food available in the evening. Definitely look forward to return visit to Hotel Caribe

Response from Carlo Lombardini, Direttore generale at Hotel Caribe

Dear Misskia10, thank you for your review. All the staff are happy to learn how much you enjoyed the hotel and the services offered, especially in these times. Caribe enjoys a beautiful lakefront location. I recommend you to reach the center of Brenzone by foot (10 minutes walk) and admire the small port, it is lovely at sunset. With the hope of being able to meet you again, I greet you warmly! Giada Borghi Front Office Manager

A place I’ve wanted to go for years, Lake Garda. I came across this hotel saw the price was very reasonable, read the reviews and decided I’d give it a try for 2 nights half board. On arrival the hotel looks great, we had to wait about 15 minutes till the receptionist turned up to book us in, it was around 7, so a rush to get to the room, change and down for dinner. The room had a lovely view of the lake and balcony, bathroom was clean and a nice size room, bathroom had a good shower. We had to fill in a menu with our choices, you had about 4 choices for 2 main meals, starter you didn’t get a choice, pudding you had about 4 choices also We went for dinner, restaurant overlooked the lake and was a little dated, but ok. The food was ok and for the price you really can’t argue about, for us it was more than enough food. Breakfast was also in the same room, choices were many so you would be hard pushed to not find something you liked. The beds were fairly comfortable, the only thing we didn’t like was their pillows, more like a cushion lol. Parking if In a car could be difficult at times even though you had park in their garage and also up by the hotel, if on a bike you can find somewhere in the garage, safe and out of sight. There was nice seating outside and a nice bar area. Now the only downside I’d have to say is, if you want a few drinks in the bar then you’d struggle, unless you brought your own in, we found the barmen very very slow, and even slower if they were making a cocktail, they also seemed to struggle with the draft beers. To me they needed someone at the bar who can handle more than 2 people. Overall this was a great little hotel which needs a little update but for the money you can’t go wrong. I would have no problem stopping here again, I will visit Lake Garda again one day and will stop here again.

We arrived early from our flight from Ireland and were greeted at the desk to a smooth process with a complimentary drink to settle usbin. Our room was all ready and the cot was all setup which was great as we needed to get settled in quick with a 7 year old and 6month old. The room was cool and the Aircon worked a treat during the stay. The cot was new and comfy. The double and single bed was the same. Whilst discussing the room I'll state that the cleaning which was done each day was to a great detail and even the teddy's got tucked in again(these small things count). Fresh towels each day. The balcony view was something else, we have been to lake Garda 6 times and this view is the best as it was in our direct view with now rooftops in the way etc. Making everynight sunsets amazing. The breakfast was full of variety for healthy eating as well as the kids waffles and chocolate sauce. There was plentynof cereal, milk alternatives and lots of fruit. The pastry's felt and tasted freshly prepared. This always set up us well for the day. The pool was clean, enjoyable, safe and not overcrowded for us and all children enjoyed it. The bar and barman was great and friendly. We never took up the free bikes and kayak offers but would have been great. The underground carparking was a blessing with the heat, meaning the car wasn't roasting every morning. This place I cannot criticise and they made the start to finish a blessing and smooth and enjoyable including checkout were we got a complimentary wine and children sweets and as we had an early flight home, they prepared a small breakfast..nice touch. I'm giving it a full score and will be back, 1 thing my wife and I would like to see is the childseats for the tables to have straps and that is my only comment. All else you are doing it very well. Thank you Gareth Ireland

Stayed here with my husband for a couple of nights, and everything was great. The lady on reception was very sweet. The man on the bar made great cocktails. Room is basic and has lovely views of the lake and mountains. Beautiful sunsets can be viewed from the balcony and hotel restaurant. Food is amazing. Both the 4course dinner we had, and the choice at breakfast. Bus stops right outside hotel for easy access to other parts of the lake. Would stay here again.
