Modern rooms built into century-old Italian houses - such a great atmosphere and so much romance! Giulio the host is super-friendly, knows the surounding wines and restaurants. The wine bar features an incredible variety of aperitivo snacks every night and the restaurant serves good Italian food. Very reasonably prized! The property is actually much nicer than it looks in the...

Not sure how you could find a more enjoyable hotel for your base in the Langhe than Le Case Della Saracca, or a more accommodating host than Guilio Perin. Monforte d'Alba is convenient for Barolo winery visits and the Saracca’s location and the views are outstanding. Giulio has created a fantastic hotel, restaurant, and wine bar by combing and renovating...

Le Case della Saracca is very unique restaurant. The food is great and the restaurant has so much character, Since the bulilding is 1000 years old. I just fell in love with this restaurant. If you visit Piemonte make sure you don't miss it.

...and one of the best I've been to. Has all the known crus and Giulio can advise you in unknown, yet extraordinary wines. Also his kitchen surprises with fresh and tasty, simple essentials. Not to speak of the numerous hidden spaces and futuristic stairways ! Really top !

This is our second time visiting Julio and our first time staying at his hotel. Once again we were blown away with the attention to detail Julio used in crafting his establishment. Since our last stay, Julio has opened a restaurant and this truly is one of the most amazing places we have been to. It is like eating suspended...

If you are looking for a special spot, look no further! This hotel is so unique, and the rooms are really memorable. Giulio is a genial host and wine lover, and can make recommendations for restaurants and winery visits. We really enjoyed the attached restaurant as well, which is just as spectacular as the hotel. Why stay in a traditional...

We (5 of us) stayed here upon a recommendation from a friend who is in the wine importing business in the States. Sadly we had only booked 2 nights and were not able to extend. What an incredible place set in the midst of one of the greatest wine regions of the world! Three historic buildings combined to make this...

My wife and I recently stayed one night at Le Case della Saracca on our journey through the beautiful Piedmont region. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! From the moment we were greeted at the door by the proprietor, Giulio (also the town Pharmacist!), to the time we checked out the next morning, our stay was magical....

My husband and I spent two nights at Le Case della Saracca on our honeymoon in October 2011 and highly recommend it. Monforte d'Alba is a charming medieval town, and Le Case della Saracca is a delightful place to stay. Each room in this restored building is unique, all with old-world charm and modern amenities. We chose "camera di camiot,"...
