Villa Diktamos is a wonderful place to stay in Crete.We had the best of both worlds!!!! We thoroughly enjoyed the serene settings of the picturesque village in Atsipopoulo, the walking we did everyday and the relaxing and swimming in the pool. Then when we felt like it, we would go to Rethymno, for a concert, dinner at Knossos Tavern or anything else that took our fancy. Thanks to Kosta, our host, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, not to mention the home grown vegetables, honey and olive oil that was given to us.

Villa was excellent and suited our needs perfectly. Large, spacious, modern villa that was clean and comfortable and had all the mod cons needed for our stay including free wifi. Location wise it was excellent; although not central to Rethymno, it is perfect if you want a quieter stay. Walking distance to Atsipoupolo where there are a few local restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy. Five minute taxi journey to Rethymno town centre which was easy to arrange. Mr. Kostas who owned the villa was very friendly and endeavoured to help in every way possible. Would happily return!

Crete is such a perfect place for holidays and especially rethymno is my favourite destination.This time i chose to stay bit further from the historic town.Diktamos Villas is a perfect stay as it is located only 7 min drive from the city,in the beautiful village Atsipoloulo.The house was very artisticly decorated, and Kostas is very nice and helpful host at all times.I totally recommend it to all the people outhere to have super relaxing and value for money holidays as i did!!!!
