Just spent 2 glorious nights at this wonderful BnB in Greyton. Lovely room with huge king size bed. Tastefully decorated. Enough plugs to charge devices. Amazing huge bath - great for two people ;). Breakfast on both mornings was fresh and tasty. Set in the most beautiful garden with lovely scents of rose and other colorful flowers, this is really...

On the recommendation of friends who live in Greyton, I stayed at High Hopes for just one night. It is has a charming, country cottage feel - chintz curtains, old prints on the walls. A sweet vase containing flowers picked from their garden completed the picture for me. My room was very comfortable and had everything you could wish for...

We stayed for 5 nights. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was great. Really enjoyed the 4 course breakfast. The wind rustling in the trees really made is relax. We stayed in the Lilly room and made a fire for two of the nights that we stayed.

I have had the great pleasure of staying at High Hopes a number of times over a 4 year period, and I can't speak highly enough of Angela and Sharon’s hospitality. But let me put that in perspective. I’ve lived in 16 cities on 6 continents and visited over 400 destinations. I’ve stayed in 6 star resorts, shantytowns and everything...

We had High Hopes of this establishment upon reading reviews. The rooms are spacious but the overall feeling is one of grubbiness. The whole place needs a thorough cleaning, especially the bathrooms. Like it or not, cats will be sharing your space. Breakfast was good if somewhat small.

The owners and staff are warm and lovely, but we were disappointed in the standard of the room "sold" as luxury. The bath is super small and old, and for what we paid vs the standard of the room, it is not luxury, but very standard. The breakfast was terrible. 4 course ended up being scrambled eggs on toast, as...

Our warm and cozy bedroom with fireplace was most welcome on a rainy weekend. The hosts were away at the time but we were very well looked after by Stephanie. The hotel is close enough to walk into town as well as into the nature reserve. The garden is magical and we loved our time here.

A fantastic spot to unwind and detox - I highly recommend a weekend away here. They offer wellness retreats, kinesiology, massage, reiki and much more - and lovely breakfasts too! On top of that, Greyton is a superb place to visit - like stepping back a hundred years...

To best describe our experience I've cut and pasted the email I wrote to the two owners of High Hopes of Greyton. Hi dear Sharon and Ange, Thank you so very much for the most wonderful weekend break. It came at a time when I really needed to get-away both to rest and to spend quality time with Cami and...

“I stayed in both Violet and Buttercup and was thrilled with both - the rooms are furnished in different styles, but both had excellent bathrooms, very comfortable beds, a great supply of books, extra wool rugs and throws, interesting and beautiful art works, furnished patios, wood-burning fireplaces and satellite television. Just heavenly. Pick a room ... any room!”

“Violet Room has a TV - and a small lounge area. I would definitely book this room with our return visit so that hubby does not miss out on his sports. Lily room is also lovely with a porch area which I loved but on cold days you cannot enjoy the porch. I loved the garden view from Lily room. There are parts of High hopes that could do with some maintenance”
