Stayed at the Kingfisher Lodge in December 2016. Booked the executive suite. The suite was very spacious, well kept and the service was good. Very safe an secure. Had the buffet breakfast daily which was a substantial meal to start the day. The lodge is set in a peaceful, tranquil setting overlooking the golf course and very close to the...

Booked into the lodge for a conference, I was overwhelmed by the extent to which the staff went to cater for my vegan requirements. I arrived late in the evening, but a meal was waiting for me in my room. The room was well appointed, comfortable, with a lovely view over a lake.

Currently on a business trip in Durban (from Melbourne) and staying close to the businesses that we are working with. We are about 20km north of the Durban CBD staying at the Kingfisher Lodge. Not much really around the local area - it's a mix of residential and industrial. Probably not a place to holiday (I assume there are better...

Hi Lucas Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback as it allows us to improve our service. I would like to apologise for your experience during breakfast. This is unacceptable and has been brought to the attention of both the manager and head chef. On investigation, it appears to have been an issue with our supplier, which has...

This appears to be a gem in an industrial area. The rooms are well appointed, the service is obliging and good. It is disconcerting trying to find the place after dark, and gps directions give more than one option off the internet. But overall it seems great. Once the road works on the access routes are sorted one day it...

I stayed in room 20 for 3 nights which has a lounge, kitchenette, bedroom and a massive bathroom and a veranda. I had room service every night and the food was truly delicious and the service was efficient and super friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. My bedroom and lounge overlooked the Mount Edgecombe lake...

This hotel was one of the best finds I have had while travelling. It's located overlooking a dam on a golf course. The rooms are very well appointed and the staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. For my business trip I stayed alone in a mini-suite, but paid the price of a mid to low end hotel room. I was...

The lodge and conference centre are close to the airport and provide all the basic essentials. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food was generally OK - although rare steak that is served on the well done side of medium is just not on. The walls and doors of the rooms are paper thin, so any late night revellers...

When I arrived at the lodge from the King Shaka airport, it must have been around 8 pm. I struggled to find the main entrance and finally was directed to the next street. The bar tender doubled as the receptionist. Dinner was not provided and I was directed to the FKC or the Mc Donalds in the vicinity. The tea...
