You get what you pay for at the Aristea hotel, good value for money. Nice clean room, serviced each morning. Lovely pool area (however shaded by the afternoon) and right beside the gorgeous Rethymnon beach! Loads of places to eat along the beach (we usually walked for 20minutes along scebic beachfront to get somewhere nice, Mio Gusto very close is...

The location is ok, it's not in the center, but the nice beach is nearby, there are plenty of tavernas and the supermarket in the neighborhood. The beach is in some twenty meters or so, and you do not need to cross the road to get to it, as in some other places. It is wide enough and deep enough...

We spent the fantastic holiday in Rethymnon (July and August 2016) in this charming hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. We got advice to excursions if we needed and also other useful information about the different parts of Crete. There was very easy and quick way (about 50 m) from the hotel to the peaceful beach. You didn't...

Self catering with a kitchen/lounge and one bedroom. Well away from the main street, great location for us. Typically Crete, quite basic and very clean - good value for money. We had a problem with fridge which was immediately fixed - very efficient. We were on bottom floor which has a patio which was slightly down from street level -...

Staff members were very helpful. Nice bar close to the pool with good snacks, salads, etc. Relatively small / compact so almost had the feel of a family-run place, especially with the friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Easy access to the decent-sized pool. Self-catering rooms are quite rudimentary, but all fine in a compact way. Air conditioning would have cost an extra...

Lovely fairly quiet hotel. The staff know who you are and are super helpful. If they don't know something e.g. when we asked where to hire bikes, they'll find out for you. 50m from the quieter end of the beach but you only need to walk 5 mins to get to a busier part near shops etc. There's some lovely...

This hotel provides lovely, fully-equipped clean and comfortable studios. It's located next to the beach and the old town is 3 km away. Also there is a taxi corner next to the beach. Overall a good value for money hotel with a good staff. Absolutely worth it!

Had a wonderful stay at aristea! Lovely little family run hotel situated just away from the hustle and bustle of the hotels and bars on the beach Road, and still very close to the beach (50m or so). All the staff were very friendly, all very happy to help with any query! Would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Quiet, nice little hotel right at beach. Hotel staff was very friendly, our 1-year-old just loved them. A little far away from the old town, but we didn't mind because we spend a lot of time on the beach and pool anyhow, and on the other hand rented a car for a few days to explore the island.
