It was bad from check in to check out. The rooms were awful and it smelled really bad. It was ONE electrical outlet to charge the mobile in the whole room. The food was terrible, we couldn’t eat or drink anything. You had to pay a deposit in cash to get bath towels, it was not possible to pay with credit card. The hotel's own sunbeds on the beach cost money. They were inflexible with everything.

The 1 KM private road into the hotel is full of deep potholes everywhere. This is a perfect metaphor for this hotel - easily fixed but it requires management who cares...there seem to be really nice caring staff intermixed with some who have terrible attitudes (especially by the beach/pool bar restaurant and in the breakfast/dinner restaurant). And if you don't want to get a serious lung infection don't use your A/C unit, is it will be FULL of mould and mildew. One thing is clear - the hotel has not used the coronavirus time to improve things at all. We were here in October 2020 and they were managing okay - it is now May 2021 and literally everything needs maintenance. The worst part is a terrible, careless attitude has developed. We had a bunch of friends arrive on Friday (we came the night before) with their kids. At 11:45am none of their rooms were ready - these are bookings made a month ago for rooms that have had no people in them for 6 months and they still weren't ready. Everyone used our room to freshen up and when I asked the reception if they could get housekeeping to freshen it up, after my fourth request they told me I already had housekeeping in the morning so could not have it a second time. I explained I needed it because they had not had the other rooms ready and everyone had to use my room (and bathroom and towels) - they could have cared less, they literally just ignored us all day but what is worse, they have this phone app which kept saying the request had been completed (when it hadn't been- someone was just flat out lying). This is really so far from 4 star. The hotel has potential but with no room service, no turn down service, no ability to get food outside of certain hours (and the lunch menu is mediocre at best) this will never be better than a solid three star. That said, I really doubt they will get their act together in 2021 so expect to be disappointed if you are looking for what the place was like a year or two ago. And as I said, we travel a lot and this place just doesn’t have what you need to meet 4 star, maybe 3.5 star if everything was working well. We had concerns our last two day stay but liked the beach so came back, there won't be a third time. To be clear, I have great sympathy for the challenges of Covid - none of my concerns relate to this, but on this point the are also failing. I was told at the restaurant yesterday I could not sit next to my 2 year old to feed her becuase of Covid - I had to sit across from her. This obviously makes no sense on so many levels - they told me these were the rules in Spain. Well, I live in Ibiza so I think we know the rules just fine and this isn't one of them, but does reflect their attitude. You have been warned...

Stayed in October for one week, amazing weather and beautiful structure. Amazing beach in front of the hotel and very nice food as well! Staff is very friendly even with COVID precautions they made their best to guarantee a safe and enjoyable vacation. Super recommended and probably the best you can find in Formentera!

Location is unbeatable, just in front of one of the most beautiful beaches in Formentera. The hotel staff couldn’t be more genuinely helpful and the food was delicious!! All COVID security measures were implemented and feel very safe during the holidays.

I was excited to come to this hotel as the position looked excellent. Upon arrival, I was told my room was at the lower part of the hotel, overlooking the beach. I had to carry all my luggage by myself down a long road and was given minimal directions to my room. It wasn’t the best first impression. My room, was in fact overlooking a white wall and not the beach... the beach is the saving grace of this hotel. It’s a fantastic beach, not as good as Levante or Illetes but Formentera standards. Unfortunately, you have to pay for the sun loungers on the beach.. for a BEACH hotel you would think they would come complimentary, however no. Also, the water provided at the hotel upon arrival isn’t free; after a boat ride and a 30 minute taxi you would hope they may offer a beverage, as a 4 star hotel. Breakfast and Dinner is good, the dining area again is in the upper part of the hotel, so it is slightly annoying walking up and down the hill. The price of this hotel also fluctuates severely, so when booking or if you choose to book, be cautious.. each day it changes. I don’t think I would stay here again. However, the staff at breakfast and dinner are really lovely. The food is great and varied.
