We stayed on the 2nd floor with a view of the pool and the beach. Rooms were very clean (even in European terms) and very equipped. Shower had hot water and very good flow. Also had a jacuzzi with pool/beach view which was amazing. Service in the hotel was one of the best we had in Thailand. Ready and eager...

I stayed here for 12 nights with my 4yr old and a friend. We stayed in a large bungalow 1 row back from the beach. The price was very reasonable - 2500 baht per night including breakfast. The room was large, the bed comfy (for Thailand). The room and bathroom were cleaned beautifully every day. The reception staff were very...

Really nice staff. Location is nice and quiet yet close enough to good restaurants, stores, recreational activities, etc. Breakfast does the job but not the best we had in Thailand. We stayed in their standard room and the garden view bungalow. Not sure if the extra money for the bungalow is really worth it. The standard room is just as...

right at the beach, and a good beach. And a good pool with a pool bar. We had a junior suit and it was great and very spacious with two bathrooms, and view great sea and pool view. It is a quiet area. Airport transfer is not included and you need to pay for it. Nice staff.

We found the staff most helpful, the food at the resturant was superb. The facilities were a bit older with noticable signs of maintenance needed, the sleep comfort was a 2/5, good if you like a hard firm mattress. Overall we would return but only in a beach front bungalow, we spent 2 night in one fantastic.

Receptionists were friendly and accommodating, hotel is great location on the powdery soft beach, make sure to stay here and not on the mangrove side of the island. I stayed in a renovated ground floor room, was lovely except at one point someone was smoking in room next door which entered my room, staff were great and offered to switch...

I love this place! Out of the way from busy Chaweng Beach - Lamai has everything you want/need. Sand Sea Resort is beautifully nestled in the garden by the beach. Great staff, great views and beautiful pool and accommodation. I loved it here!

Luckily, I only had to spend 3 nights here and that was more than enough. The bungalow I was booked into probably needed renovations around the time the Berlin Wall got torn down. Nails sticking out of the floor, limp towels, old linen, a "bathing facility" that was a disused swimming pool around which a wall had been built, filthy...

I stayed in the Royal Pool Villa with my daughter and it was awesome! The spa was amazing, the room was large as was the bathroom and all impeccably clean. The pool was a haven in this beautiful hot country even tho you're right on the beach I personally still prefer a pool. A short walk along the beach brings...
