Rooms are clean, simple with all you could need including good in room safe. Balcony just enough. Quiet and just far enough away from action. Breakfast and coffee very good with decent selection. The villas looked really nice and gardens very well kept. Fantastic location 2 min easy walk into town. Staff very friendly and more than happy to help...

We stayed at Lamai Wanta for 5 nights. Our Deluxe room #36 was quiet, clean, our windows overlooked the courtyard, but the entrance door overlooked the barren so it was a little scary to return at night. Our room had a big terrace. In the room were the conveniences - TV, hair-dryer, safe, free wi-fi (it worked even inthe beach)....

The hotel is modern, clean, luxurious, and beautiful. Our best guess is that the smaller size was what brought the rates down - we can't find anything else lacking that would account for the great price! Has a restaurant overlooking the beach, a pool, loungers, great bedrooms, large bathrooms, lovely landscaping. Staff were helpful but not overly so. No secure...

We stayed 8 nights at Lamia Wanta and had a very good time. The hotel is surely not luxurious nor does it have the Thai ‘feel’, yet it is good value for money (that Thai atmosphere is in general rather absent from Samui, unfortunately). Its best point is the excellent location – right on one of the best parts of...

We had a great stay at the Lamai Wanta in august 2010. The location is good, central in Lamai Beach. The pool area is a bil small, but it was not to crowded, and the location was good for sunbathing. The beach and sea in front of the hotel is very nice and clean, but we were distubed by beachwendors...

Our stay overall was very nice and I would recommend this place to others but some minor improvements can be made. The pool and the surroundings of the pool are very very nice because it is right next to the beach and the pool itself is very refreshing and serves it´s purpose. The restaurant serves great lunch at a good...

In terms of value for money, this place is probably one of the better places you could stay in Lamai. The beachfront location is perfect for couples or families. They have sunbeds facing out into the water which is very beautiful both during the day and also at night when they let off lanterns and fireworks. The hotel itself is...

Lamai Wanta was definately one of our top 3 resorts during our month long stay in Thailand. The staff were helpful, the rooms in good condition and very clean, and the pool and restaurant in a great position right on the beach. The food is great and the service quick. I would definately recommend this resort to anyone looking to...

This place consists of a hotel and bungalows. The hotel building is close to Samui nightlife, so it does makes sense when I read that other people complain about some noise. On the other hand, this building is a 'sound wall' for the bungalows, where it was quiet all night. We stayed in119, a nicely decorated family bungalow with extra...
