Best view in Cairns that we came across. Better than lookouts because closer to the sea, and before that is mostly trees. We watched sailboats & a cruise ship from the verandah. Also was very clean, & that is important to us. Room was large, high ceiling. Hosts friendly & helped with info.

We immediately felt very uncomfortable at Warrawong. Karen, the hostess, met us in the car park and kept us there chatting, for a long time. We had driven for hours to get to this place and really just needed to get to our room. The dining room/lounge area of Warrawong reeked of mothballs! It was very off putting. Our room...

Since your comments to us had only been positive, including about our solidly built house and our terrific view, your review is a surprise. Moreover when I enquired if everything was OK, you said yes. We are sorry that your stay with at Warrawong Lodge was unsatisfactory. We wish that we had known of your issues during your stay so...

View was superb and the establishment was vey clean. It has a very good location near everything in Cairns we wanted. The breakfast was very good. The swimming pool had an infinity edge with the coral sea in the background.

I stayed here for a vacation. The staffs were rude to me and the food is not very good. I can't believe I wasted my money at this hotel. To all others who think of staying at this hotel. I don't recommend this to anyone!

We are not a hotel. We have a B&B. There are no "staffs", only owners. This false review was written by a couple who failed in their attempt to extort money from us, and are now on a vendetta.

At first I thought this was going to be a good place to stay. It looked decent from the advertisements. After getting there and checking into our room, We discovered probably the worst kept room I have ever seen. There were stains on the sheets as well as two full trash cans in the room. When we mentioned it to...

This is completely false. We have no advertisements. The rooms are cleaned by a professional cleaner between guests. We have asked TripAdvisor to remove this review. This review, and other recent negative reviews, are written by a couple as retaliation for their failed attempt to extort money from us. Unfortunately small business in the hospitality sector are subject to demands,...

We stayed five nights at Warrawong Lodge Bed & Breakfast on a Far North Queensland road trip. On arrival, we were instructed on the do's and don'ts of the property and before we were introduced to our room, we were asked to pay in full. Our room, which was very clean and tidy, had the necessary appointments but for our...

Regarding the security cameras - at your request, I pointed out the location of the cameras. The CCTV system is an important part of the security on our 4 acre property, and is typical for Cairns hotels, stores, and even Cairns streets. However, we recognise that some guests find the cameras intrusive so we cover them upon request. I told...

We stayed for 2 nights at this very comfortable and well appointed B & B with a gorgeous view of the ocean. It is very new, the rooms are beautiful and large and spotlessly clean. There are only 3 rooms. The fresh breakfast was excellent. You do need a car as the drive is long and steep at this secluded...

This place is up on a hill so a car is required. But the views from the balcony and the pool are unbeatable. The rooms are very spacious and spotless with TV, WiFi and AirCon. Huge kitchen and lounge are available. Unfortunately you feel observed all the time by all the cameras - thankfully no cameras in the rooms. The...

For a B&B, this is excellent. Our room was big. We loved the view, especially from the swimming pool. Definitely needed a rental car, but it is centrally located in between Cairns and Port Douglas. Very close to Palm Cove, so nice with many restaurants and beach.

We enjoyed our stay because it had all that it promised and that was a lot!! Spacious and clean rooms, spectacular view, beautiful pool, good info about things to do, a lot of things to do and very helpful hosts, nice area to sit in the evening, use of stuff for sandwichmaking (knifes, plates, refrigerator etc). Really Nice!!!
