The hostel is well maintained, prices reasonable, and staff very cordial. The rooms are clean, kitchen well kept, and common bathrooms very clean. Breakfast is included. Wifi is not accessible in all rooms. Common hall at the reception has strong signal. It should be noted that transport to Odda is limited by number of buses available, which are few, unless...

Hi, The site of the hostel is really extraordinary. Based on a meadow over the fjord with a view on the mountains. The welcome hostess was kind. Rooms are small, modest and brief with bunk beds. The collective spaces are practical, clean and friendly inciting to the exchanges and to the sharings. Usually based at every stair. Activities and games...

For the price, the hostel was an excellent value. Great views, very clean and friendly helpful staff. We booked a little late and had to go for the shared bathroom (which I never want to do) but it was so clean and there was a sink in the room anyway, so it ended up not being an issue. In addtion,...

Simple but clean and comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff and perfectly located for some excellent hiking. The breakfast is included and is a good array of cold foods and boiled eggs. There is a restaurant within walking distance which is useful if you can't be bothered to cook after hiking. The views are spectacular, either of the fjord if your room...

The location was great for us to just take the car in the morning to go to Trolltunga. The breakfast was really good with lots of options - eggs, cereal, bread, etc. There is also a possibility to make more sandwiches to bring for lunch and it only costs 50 NOK which is really great. The hostel itself is very...

We stayed here two nights for our hike of Trolltunga. As a hostel, the place was clean with decent beds and hot showers. The breakfast spread was fantastic, although it was primarily sandwich makings. There are buses to get to and from the hike and a long walk on a hill between the hostel and bus stop. The views from...

The hostel is a fantastic building in an even better location. The views are spectacular and is a great base for Trolltunga (although having your own transport is recommended). The rooms and shared bathrooms are clean and comfortable, the facilities are very good and the breakfast spread is impressive. The hostel is a bit out the way, but definitely recommend...

welcome is average, information given on restaurants open in the surroundings on a Saturday evening is false, you have to rent your sheets and towels and remove yourself those of previous customers, rooms are narrow and noisy when reservation sold-out. The bottles and other garbage of last night party have probably to wait till next Monday to be cleaned up...

We stayed here on June 28th during our drive from Bergen along the Hardanger tourist route. It's in a lovely orchard, with great view of the fjord. The room is spacious with big table, huge wardrobe and ample storage facilities. Breakfast is great with good options for vegetarians. The reception girl printed out a map of the fruit trail on...

We stayed just for one night but this hostel is supposed to be a perfect base camp for several outdoor activities, e.g. there are two very impressive waterfalls (vossen) in walking distance from the hostel. And it can be a starting point for a hiking trip to Kinsarvik on 'Queen Sonjas Panoramic Hiking Trail' The hostel also provides brochures for...
