Our 1st guided fishing package. What an awesome experience. The location is great. The team here was on point and great to deal with. Jessica made sure we were booked and taken care of. Our guide was Edwin. His 1st year here, but a great guy and put us in some great fish. Really clean cabins. Great community room and the restaurant is good food. Note you should bring cash for the tip to guide and service team. It is appreciated.

Trip of a Lifetime: If you have found this place, you have to go. You will not be disappointed. I went up to the Eagles Nest for a Fishing Trip with my dad, brother and father in law. We had an outstanding time. We flew in by water plan. Awesome experience, by itself. I felt like I was in Indiana Jones! We stayed at the laughing moose lodge, which had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. Our guides Parch and Traven put on fish everyday. The guides provided excellent shore lunches for us with the fish we caught. The food that was served each night at the lodge was delish! We are hoping to make it back next year.

This year my wife and I were searching for something exotic but local....a suitable replacement for our usual winter holiday. We found it at Eagle Nest Lake. We were pampered yet challenged, treated to spectacular fishing and cared for by some of the finest people we have ever met. We are still talking about the wonderful memories we got to keep, and we learned so much about caring for the environment from our guide Tanner. We'll be back!

We visited Eagle Nest Lodge on Sept 6th to beautiful weather and even more beautiful people and lodge. We had 3 days on the water fishing with an amazing guide to set us up for success. I have never fished before and was very excited to be able to join my husband and find out why the allure. Our daughter and son-in-law, also novice fisher people joined us and all of us became "hooked". We enjoyed hearty breakfasts each morning, shore lunches were the fresh and delicious fish that we caught ourselves, and dinner was always a fulfilling end to the day. The lodge further entertained us with a pool table, darts, and weight room in the well outfitted club house. As a busy family not able to get a lot of downtime with each other, this was a perfect family get away. Our evenings were filled with stories of the day playing board games and thouroughly enjoying the comfort of the cabin. The weather was cooperative and just a hint of cool allowing us to use the woodstove providing instant warmth and a relaxing atmosphere. All in all a 5 star family adventure fishing get away that I highly recommend.

What a gem of a property. I had some Alberta visitors and I wanted to show off the awesome fishing and lake experience we have in Manitoba. This was our first visit. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. Leather couches and all the comforts of home. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfy and the location of our cabin, directly on the water, yet private, was just perfect. We rented a nice fishing boat and caught a bass and several pike. The staff were friendly and helpful and even gave us a detailed map of the location of where the fish seem to hang out. Our cabin would comfortably sleep 9 people. If you wanted to come as a group, maybe an extended family, the price point becomes very inexpensive per head. We have been to Lake Winnipeg (near grand beach), Falcon lake, Barren lake, Hunt, Lyons and Osakis, Bronson and Hayes (Minnesota),this past year. We take fishing kayaks and food supply and have a good idea of what to expect at the various lodges. This experience at Eagles nest lodge, was by far the best lake/fishing/accommodation and we regret that we didn’t come here sooner. The roads are good along the journey and it was only a couple hours drive from Winnipeg. We will be returning. 3 thumbs up!

I love the Eagle Nest Lodge in Manitoba, Canada. The entire Eagle Nest staff from Jessica (the manager) to the servers in the dining hall are cheerful, polite, and extremely helpful. The guides are great and a lot of fun. They work extremely hard every day in the rain, the cold, the wind, or the heat to put you on fish. The boats, cabins, and furnishings are incredible. This past July was the 3rd time for my brother and I to enjoy the Eagle Nest experience. I would not return if I was not 100% satisfied. The lodge setting to say the very least is extremely picturesque. I would love to live there. (in the summer). The “fly in experience” is something few fishermen ever get to experience. The flight in and out above the wilderness of Manitoba is worth the trip all by itself. The fishing is just a bonus. Oh, the food, let me tell you about the food! If you are on a diet this is not the place for you. The meals are prepared beautifully. The portions a huge and they don’t skimp on the quality. Lobster, shrimp, and prime rib have been on the menu every year. I can’t say enough great things about the Nest. I am glad my brother and I were able to make the trip again this year. I whole heartily recommend the Eagle Nest Lodge to anyone looking for a 5 star fishing experience. If I could I would give the Eagle Nest a 10 star rating I would.

The experience was great. our server Myah was excellent hands down. I appreciate all the efforts in making this time around a better experience. This was a do over and customer service went above and beyond. The food was great. I have no complaints on the customer service, the only downside is the person in the back mixed our food up to take home that needed to be separate.

Eight of us traveled to Eagle Nest Lodge for a short fishing trip. Typically we are canoeing the Boundary Waters or have experienced outposts so wasn't sure about the whole "glamping" experience. We found a spot we will go to over and over! The facilities were impeccable, the food excellent, fishing fabulous, and the service top rated. We were met at the docks by an enthusiastic team and that enthusiasm never waned. You could tell that Jessica Jackson and her team are carrying on some great traditions set forth by her parents and grandparents. She is a real pro! Our group consistented of four fathers and four 18 year old young men and unanimously we are returning next year. My son called it paradise!

This place is incredible and the staff and guides are the best! Beautiful location on the upper Winnipeg river and super accommodations with a touch of rustic appeal. The owners, Fred, Jo-Anne and Jessica, make you feel like family and the rest of the staff were always friendly and helpful. It was my first time at Eagles Nest, though some in my group have been coming here regularly for years and years and I certainly understand why. 1st class service never stops, from hot coffee delivered with a smile to you in your cabin each morning, a hearty breakfast served in the dining room, your morning catch cleaned and cooked up for shore lunch by your guide over an open fire and a fantastic chef prepared dinner every night. Oh yeah, and the fishing was great! The guides are knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful and were great fun to interact with. I don't claim to be great (or even good) at fishing but I caught plenty and had a wonderful time doing it and the guides were there to help all along the way. The more experienced fishermen in our group also had a great time too as they angled for those "trophy" catches. I had an extraordinary time and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great fishing experience, novice or expert alike.

Fantastic facility, great food and world class fishing experience. I have been going here for over a generation and have brought countless people all of which were one of a kind experiences and super happy guests. The fishing guides and staff are fantastic as well.
