We had called in here over the past few years for a coffee or lunch, but our experiences had been rather mediocre, however this week we enjoyed our lunch here. We sat outside in the (rather scruffy) garden overlooking the parking area. The atmosphere is lovely and tranquil, and our table was in dappled sun-shine. For a main course I... More

Dear Sir, Thanks so much for your oppinion, for us is very important to improve every day. We really sorry if you think that our restaurant (the terrasse) is uncared. We brush the floor and we clean the tables every morning, but if are outside, it's autumn and we are surrounded by trees and plants it's normal you see leafs... More

We have been staying for 5 days in Cortijo del ARTE and had a wonderful time. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Our duplex room was spacious, looking over the swimming pool. The staff is very kind and food is excellent. We visited Malaga (it's very easy to go there by train), had a Nice Tour at... More

I got a nice room, which was more like a flat with bed room upstairs and living room and bath room downstairs. The pool and terrasse was just outside the front door. Both upstairs and downstairs there was a strong sewer smell. There was so little pressure on the water that You were barely able to take a shower. The... More

We stayed there to visit the Caminito del Rey. The place is gorgeous and everyone is very professional and friendly. We didn't have time to check out the museum or gallery they have on the grounds. Maybe next time. We did get to enjoy the restaurant twice for dinner! They were head over heals to make their menu work for... More

Nice site, 30 minutes from the airport in the countryside. Staff is kind and helpful, good restaurant with affordable prices. A place to relax and recharge the energy before a early flight I will come back for sure the next time I need to relax a bit.

Friendly staff and quite quiet whilst the food also above average and the waiter set me up a table in the bar so that I could watch a football match. My only real criticism was that the mattress on my bed was quite uncomfortable.

It's a very nice and quiet place 30 km near Malaga; the staff at the reception and in the restaurant is very friendly and helpful. The Restaurant offers food at a high Quality in a very charming surrounding. There is an adaquat pool-area with view to the next mountains. If you want to visit Malaga, you can leave your car... I would give 4 stars for the staff - so nice, friendly and helpful. We had a lot of fun with a 'coach' outing with picnic and also with the paella made out in the courtyard, accompanied by yummy sangria. But for the overall experience, it averages out to a 3 star for me. We stayed in a room on... More

Wonderful small cortijo 30km from Malaga. Rooms have air con, are very comfortable and clean. The pool area is well presented with an honesty bar for drinks etc while you soak up the sun. The rooms are spaced out around a courtyard, formerly an old stables and around the pool area. We also had dinner in the restaurant that evening... More

We stayed four nights (Thursday to Sunday) at the end of June 2015 at the Cortijo del Arte and we were very pleased with everything on offer. Our room (104) overlooked the pool and whilst dimly lit, was nice and cool inside. Given the searing temperatures being experienced outside during our stay, we frequently retired to the room for a...
