Where to start. On arriving we found the reception less than welcoming and the staff could have been a lot better. Somewhat disturbed to find that for pool towels we had to pay 20 Euros refundable deposit (in cash) and if we wanted to have a clean pool towel each day it was 3 Euros per towel per day (for washing I suppose). I would expect a resort of this rating to provide them free daily. We then found that to use the room safe was a straight fee (who pays to use a room safe).
The food in the buffet was ok but a bit sameish over the week and the Italian restaurant was pretty much the same food.
The resort was between tow fabulous coves with sandy beaches but not owned by the hotel so sunloungers and parasols were at a cost.
Entertainment and activities very poor. The two main pools were very busy and the pool bar only had one staff member serving so long queues for a drink. There was a third pool which was advertised as an infinity pool but was in fact used as a quiet pool and even normal conversation was frowned upon.
The less said about the beds the better but they were very hard and cheap plus the sausage pillow was a nightmare. Apparently they didn't have normal pillows even though room photographs show them.
This might be a good place for families with young children but to be honest we were not impressed and our teen sons were quite disappointed.

After an hour transfer, we arrived at the hotel, the check in was no hassle, our room was ready and very clean, the cot for my youngest was ready and everything smelt very fresh.
Our room overlooked the pool and the views were beautiful.
We decided not to go on any excursions and stayed in the hotel for the week, we was not bored at all! Different pools and the splash park was play parks were brilliant and very clean! The poolside entertainment was fun.
Only one of the restaurants and the snack bar was open but we really enjoyed the food, Something different everyday, well cooked and a great choice. A great choice of Drinks as well at the bars and restaurants. I was very impressed with the lack of plastic, we drank from glasses and cardboard cups with paper straws 🙌🏼.
The evening entertainment was fantastic, my children are 1 and 10 and we all loved the mini disco and the shows, great table service. Everyone works so hard.
There is a team of professional photographers, we had a family photo shoot, the photographer we had was brilliant, my children really liked him and we got some great photos.

The hotel are handling the Covid 19 pandemic very well, the hotel wasn’t full when we were there and we were the only English for most of the trip but this wasn’t a problem for us, we had to wear masks in public areas except around the pool and once we had our food but this wasn’t a problem. Hand sanitiser was also available.
We had a fantastic holiday and didn’t want to come home. Fantastic hotel and fantastic staff 😊

We stayed at Blau Punta Reina in the middle of June on an all inclusive basis with a double room with sea view.
There was a good sized clean balcony, with a table and two chairs.
Bathroom included a hairdryer, with shower over bath and was cleaned daily.
Our room also included a mini fridge, really good sized TV, plenty of sockets and hanging space for clothes.
There was also a safe in the room however you had to rent this which was non-refundable, we paid €25 for the 7 days.
The food was lovely, lots of choices, even though the options stayed similar whilst we were there due to the plentiful options you could still have something different everyday. The desserts were exceptional!
Cocktails absolutely amazing! There’s plenty to choose from which are included in the all inclusive. All lounge bar staff provided brilliant service throughout the week. Especially Fernando and the main female bartender who was there everyday(who we didn't catch a name for).
The 3 pools are lovely, and there were always free sunbeds during the day for at least one of the pools.
Cala Romantica beach which is a short walk from the hotel is absolutely stunning and definitely worth a stroll down too.
The hotel is fabulous for families however as a young couple we still really enjoyed ourselves as you don’t need to get involved with all of the family style activities due to adult entertainment being on from 9:30pm each night and adult entertainment during the day such as water polo.
Overall a fabulous hotel and will definitely return.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I thought I owe it to this place to let everyone know that you won’t regret coming here!

We are a family of 4( kids ages were 5 and 8) and we had

spectacular sea view with a terrace. The apartment had one main room and one bedroom. Everything was well placed with a small kitchenette, dining table, tv, lots of cupboards for storage.
Important to note that everyone spoke very good english and we never had any issues.
A good choice of food. Always plenty of fruits and vegetables on offer as well as fish, seafood( even grilled razor clams!) and various meat variations.
The hotel is comprised of many small houses, which makes it not crowded at all at any point.
I also liked the fact that I had to walk some distances to kids club, restaurant, pool, beach. I did 15thousand steps per day just by walking here and there, which was great, because I needed to move after all those yummy meals.
Kids club: 10-12.00 drop off and go.
Some kids activities at 16.00 as well, but you can’t drop off and go.
Babysitting services available and our babysitter was rated top babysitter kids ever had.
Kids rides: never too busy.
Evening entertainment was always great for both adults and kids
I was able to use business center for conference call
Wifi connection was good throughout the hotel.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend it. The value for money is outstanding.

Things to improve:

Lick of paint
Shower close to beach entrance (or hotel entrance)
It would be good to know the menu in advance
Entertainment Program print out for a week, because the app didn't work and I had to scan the code

Big thank you to all the enthusiastic members of stuff. You are doing amazingly well.

Superb family holiday

Transfer from hotel is lengthly so we paid for a cab (own preference)

Reception and check in , very quick and helpful. We paid for an apartment but it wasn’t ready so got offered a junior suite with partial sea views (one bedroom and main living area with balcony) the room was superb as was the internet access (needed with a 2 & 5 year old)

The hotel grounds are immaculate especially the gardens and pool areas. The children’s splash park and pools were excellent.

Evening entertainment was superb! From mini discos to queen tribute and the Lion King I can honestly say as good as I’ve seen in some resorts in Mexico and the Dominican (well done to your animation team) The Bar staff were brill especially when it came to the kids needing milk etc.

The beach is absolutely gorgeous and very clean.

The hotel food was lovely with lots of variety, however, the choice of children’s food was VERY limited! There needs to be a children’s area specifically designed for certain ages in the main restaurant. There was no chicken nuggets , fish fingers etc.

The breakfasts were gorgeous but only one chef on the busy stations took forever and when you have young children to get back to you don’t have time to wait for a dozen omelettes, fried eggs and specific orders to be put in (baring in mind the same person on the egg station has to refill the beans sausages etc).

Overall fell in love with the hotel and will definitely be back! The cleaners do a fantastic job and we had to call for assistance from the lifeguard one day also (super helpful and quick).

Dear Dee, we are very grateful for all your comments. Furthermore we are delighted that you enjoyed the entertainment programme organised by our team of professionals, as well as their friendliness and enthusiasm. We will certainly share your congratulations with the whole team. We will take into account your comments regarding the offer of children’s food. Although we currently have an offer of different pizzas and pastas in main restaurant we are aware that we can expand it. At the moment we offer that kind of food at the bar on the square. Thank you again for your opinion, we hope to meet again in the near future. Best Regards Marko Besjedic Guest Relations

10 points to this wonderful hotel!
Big thanks to mr. Raphael who assisted us during the whole stay and big thanks to his team. The staff are all doing their best and smiling all the time. Wonderful family hotel with a wonderful kids concept water park. We spend a lot of time there.

The room was amazing!!! We had a junior suite with cala romantica view.

Food was very various every evening. Snack-bar could have some more salad variations but was also very oke.
Housekeeping was very good. The general area was amazingly clean and the staff who had to work in the Gardens in the burning sun are still smiling and always say ola and when we walked past them with the baby they even stopped the machines. So well educated and we were very surprised how good the quality is in this hotel.

Lovely greetings,

Fam Akatay

I visited with my husband, son and his wife, and 3 grandchildren. The children loved the pools and the splash pool was a particular success. The restaurant is spacious and the staff very attentive. I have been on other all inclusive family holidays and the restaurant looks like feeding time at the zoo, but in this instance, any mess around the tables was immediately cleared when the table was vacated. For an all inclusive hotel, the food was of a very high standard with a great variety at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The snack bar was good for a quick lunchtime snack but the choice limited. I would say the only disappointment was the ice lollies included in the package as they regularly ran out of these, almost on a daily basis. The hotel is a little isolated and there is not much around, but you can take the little train to Port Cristo, or a taxi to Cala Millor for around 25EUROs. The rooms were spacious and clean, and on the occasion I had to complain about the cleanliness of the room, housekeeping attended straight away.
Sunbeds is a major issue. As always the Europeans get up very early to reserve these, despite there being signs advising that this is not permitted.
This is a rule that the hotel should enforce and remove towels etc when it is evident that the beds have been reserved with nobody occupying these. All in all a great holiday and would recommend.

I’ve just returned from 10 days at this beautiful hotel with the family and cannot rate it highly enough!!!

The hotel is beautiful with breath taking views from every angle. It is impeccably clean with the cleaning staff doing such a wonderful job. We arrived back to our room every evening with freshly made beds, new clean towels every day and just small attention to detail that made a huge difference.

All of the staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My in laws had an issue with the fridge having a broken door that they reported to reception. It was fixed within the hour and fresh bottled water placed inside for them.

However the stand out of this hotel is the animation team!! They are quite simply the best I’ve ever done across! The hotel doesn’t have much really going on within walking distance but you don’t need to leave the resort as the animation team constantly has an activity or entertainment planned. My son went to the kids club on a few occasions and the pool activities for both the kids and adults are excellent.
Special mention has to go to Volo. His energy and commitment should be bottled and sold, he is incredible. All of the team are excellent who knew my son by name and made him feel really special every time they saw him!

I would 100% return to this beautiful hotel and have already recommended you to friends and family since my return!!

Keep up the amazing work!!

Reggie my son is missing you all already

Absolutely fantastic experience at this hotel from the moment we arrived. We had a sea view apartment which really was a sea view. Absolutely stunning. The apartment was perfect for our needs and spotlessly cleaned every day we were there

The food was of excellent quality with a huge choice, all fresh

My daughter loved the kids pools, especially the pirate ship! And we loved the adult pools

We went to the junior disco and the staff were great and getting all the children involved

The hotel is in a fabulous location, and we are sure to return on may occasions

First time both in this region and with Blau but we were really impressed with everything.
The Resort is large, but even in the middle of August, didn't seem over busy.

The swimming pool variety is amazing and perfect for our family (including both a 15 year old and a toddler). The two pools are deep but do have a shallow entrance and attached shallow pools for the younger ones. There is also a quiet pool with no inflatables which has great views.
The splash pool has a great pirate ship with lots of slides into shallow water and there is also a separate splash park with lots of hands on fountains etc for the kids. The steps between the two areas is slippery..most toddlers had water shoes on.

The staff are all efficient, polite and helpful and are multi lingual. They really do make you feel like your enjoyment is their priority. We were very impressed with the energy of the entertainers and how tidy the resort always was.

There are two buffet restaurants that serve most of the day until 9;30pm and also a snack bar. The pool bars serve drinks and ice creams all day. The staff really don't stop working, and always with a smile.

The evening kids entertainment was mainly in Spanish but was often repeated in English and the actions and songs were hits with all nationalities anyway!

The waiter service during the performances was great and it was amazing the variety of drinks included, for example branded spirits and cocktails.

There is a road train to Porto Cristo our toddler loved and only took 20 mins approx. This is probably the nearest area with restaurant choices and shops if you want that.
The beaches either side of the resort are lovely , there is a step walk but manageable with our toddler. We didn't use the shuttle service but this is also provided by the hotel.

There is souvenir shop and spar within 500m. We were able to get nappies here.

We will be returning to have more of the great service and good time holiday vibes.

Yes I would have thought they would have cots available. The staff at reception are lovely so if there isn’t they’ll arrange for one to your room. It may be more travel cot style as that’s what we had when our daughter was 1 at Disneyland paris but it was absolutely fine Have a great holiday
