The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle with lovely sea views. However, the furniture needs updating and some drawers were in need of repair. The cleaners left the balcony door open that led mosquitoes coming in. It was an invasion of bites that I have never experienced so badly in Europe.
The pool area had a lot of cats roaming around freely.
The drinks and snacks were quite pricey.
Buffet breakfast and dinner catered for all dietaries. A good selection of food for meat eaters but not pescatarians. Some of the dishes were over seasoned.

I submit this rating voluntarily because all old reviews have been deleted upon request of the hotel "following a vast renovation between March and October 2024". We were there 15 days in September 2023 and 3 days in September 2024 and saw no change. The water park was set up on 11/09 for drone photos and removed without doubt for the promotional campaign of the next season. OBJECTIVELY, the hotel is in a great location if you want to enjoy the sea while being close to Athens and the airport. The hall is superb (but when it rains there are leaks everywhere), the rooms in the bungalows are beautiful but badly lack maintenance. Our son even had to change rooms 3 times before getting a suitable one but missing a closet door (normal according to them!). In many of them, there is mould and leakage from the shower. Lights aren't working. For a room at 175€ a night in breakfast on sale in Greece, it is expensive... The restaurant room is huge with a very nice terrace overlooking the sea. Nothing to say about it. The small gravel beach is small but there is a large expanse of lawn just behind, with many deckchairs, umbrellas and tables. On the layout side, everything is ok. We did not use the pool. Last year we had been bothered a lot by company seminars (employees who made games screaming loud and running around our deckchairs, even lifting them to look for hidden objects. Very nice!!). We complained about it at the hotel. This year, during the short time we were there there were few seminars and many more FRAM holidaymakers. I think this clientele is more suited to the hotel. The concern is more the hotel staff. And we found that it got even worse. The vast majority of staff never say hello to you. The welcome is cold, you seem to bother when you ask for something. One day there was a big thunderstorm a lot of rain and the next morning the terrace was soaked, the chairs and tables wet. No one had the idea to clean and rehabilitate for guests to have lunch outside. They watched us do without moving.... See how it develops. I find it a shame to waste such a potential.

We only stayed one night at Dolce Athens Attica Rivera. We expected an amazing stay given the fact that it’s quite expensive and rated 5 stars however, our stay was very disappointing. Since we couldn’t check in early, we went to use the spa facilities to pass the time. While in the pool area we saw multiple cockroaches. Don’t worry we saw more throughout our stay. The spa treatment was supposed to be a massage and facial, however it was just a massage even though we paid for both. Nothing was done about this. When we finally get our room the air conditioning didn’t work and it’s well over 30 degrees outside at this point, so needless to say the room was boiling. There is no actual contact number for reception anywhere in the room or on the phone, so we had to walk back to the front desk. The air conditioning gets fixed and remains ok until we go for dinner. We go for dinner and by the time we return not only does the air conditioning not work but now we also don’t have power. Once again, we make another trip to reception. Everything is fixed once again. We decide to use the pool in our room and once again are met with cockroaches. We finally settle to sleep for the night following two run ins with cockroaches in a single day. When we wake up in the morning once again we have no power in our suite. Therefore, we weren’t able to use the washroom with any light or make a morning coffee, yet we are paying for a suite at a 5 star hotel. While we are checking out we tell the front desk about all of the issues we’ve had, the front desk employee wasn’t apologetic at all and in fact laughed then said we should’ve been calling them this morning. However, a phone requires power to work. We asked for a refund or at least a partial refund but were told there isn’t anyone more management on site so nothing can we done at this time. Our stay was absolutely terrible and I will be leaving these exact comments as reviews on all travel sites unless a refund is issued. We’ve emailed with management as well at this point and they’ve still done absolutely nothing to fix the situation. Please disregard the response from management below. I have reached out to them multiple times and they don’t even answer my emails anymore. DO NOT STAY HERE…

We paid for 7 days here, while we stayed here our bathroom flooded, the king size bed is 2 twin beds pushed together so you are not able to sleep next to your partner. The bed separates and you fall into the crack. Expensive items went missing from our room during housekeeping cleanings. Cats everywhere, inside and outside of the hotel. Restaurant food was disgusting got extremely ill. Would not change me rooms when the bathroom flooded. We needed up going to stay at a different hotel in Athens. Waiting for a refund.

This is not a 5 Star resort! The facility is tired and poorly designed. Two, very small elevators operate intermittently. The WiFi connection is unreliable. There are no clear directions to the hotel’s facilities. Its staff is indifferent or incompetent. It is unacceptable that this hotel closes in one month. I visited it as an external visitor as I wanted to use the sea therapy center that has the spa.The reception welcomed me warmly and created a package combining the facilities of the spa as well as a massage that fully covered my needs.
