Spent 1 week here, and had a good time. We were in an Eden VIP cottage, the VIP extras meant limitless WiFi, towels and daily bread deliveries which we really appreciated. We were super lucky with the weather so bbq'd every night which is just...More
I understand that there are mosquitoes in the park. It's nature. I don't even mind the old and DIRTY carpet in an old (and somewhat stinky) cottage in desparate need of renovation. But to have a cottage infested with earwigs is something I can't tolerate....More
The facilities in this park are awesome, there is so much to do and both the market-dome and aquamundo are very nice.
The reason why I give this place a low rating is because the beds are horribly soft, when I complained they had a...More
Standards are not as high, everything is a bit tired, restaurant selection is average. Reasonably priced though, less to do than Longleat for the young kids.
Staff are excellent and the levels of English spoken is very good, the buffet is brilliant quality but the...More
We took our granddaughters aged 8 and 10 here. It was an ideal place for them. The cottage we stayed in, (a 4 person premium) was well equipped. I especially liked having a dishwasher, and a DVD player.
There were plenty of activities for girls...More

We did Dunkirk to Kempervennan on the Saturday at the start of the Easter school holidays and used the Antwerp ring road, it was slow but kept moving , on our return we asked some Dutch guests at the park what would they suggest? They said its just luck, but the alternatives are likely to get busy if the ring road is a problem as all the locals and the long distance lorries switch to alternatives. We used the Ring road at about 8:00 am on a Tuesday and while we were down to about 30/40 mph it was fine.
You just need some luck there hasn't been a crash and one of the many lanes is closed!
Enjoy Kempervennan its worth it.
