We have stayed at Casa Tomaren twice and we're already looking forward to going back. The welcome is always friendly and warm, accommodation is simple but comfortable and stylish, and the pool and gardens are beautiful and relaxing. Centrally located, it's an ideal base for exploring the whole island. (It's the beautiful, rocky and generally quiet north coast that we...

It's so hard to find somewhere to go outside of summer that doesn't involve a huge flight with small children. Lanzarote turned out to be the perfect October solution. It was nothing like it's Lanzagrotty reputation. OUr impression was aided by Tomaren which was low-key, laid back and very charming. I loved that it was self-catering bar the dining room...

In the best place to visit the island, right in the center. lovely pool, breakfast to be improved. Avoid the beach hotels, crouded and noisy: this is the perfect spot with a friendly management. Ideal for couples and families. Rent a car and visit the island and Manrique Architecture making this hotel the base of your stay.

Had a lovely week staying at quiet and pretty Casa Tomaren. Loved our room - we chose a small one which was rusticly stylish and had everything we needed. Enjoyed reading by the pretty pool (sadly as we were there in late October it wasnt quite warm enough for a dip). Fab breakfasts and helpful hosts. You'll definitely need a...

We found this rural hotel by surprise and are still amazed, Ideal location to explore the island, a pool made for a movie, great ambience and very nice people. Everything was perfect and we saw a lot of caring work being done in order to improve even more. We stayed in Casa Sari Wangi, a 100 sqm house with two...

2nd visit. Still wonderful. In the centre of Lanzarote which means a few degrees cooler than the coast, quiet nights, clear starlit skies and log fires in the apartment in the winter. Logs from the garage down the road. Friendly cat - same as last year, almost seemed to remember us. Moroccan colours, Asian themes, lots of dark wood in...

We have just stayed in Mawar and would agree with the below review. Though it is perfectly adequate, everything looks tired. Attention to detail is so important and makes the difference between recommending a place or not. We arrived on Saturday lunchtime and reception didn’t open again until Monday morning. No information was left either in the house or breakfast...

We were a little disappointed by Casa Tomaren - our accommodation (Mawar, the two-storey villa) was very dark and smelt slightly musty. It wasn't overly well-equipped - there was only 3 of everything (plates, spoons etc.) and the appliances were old and a little bit rusty, except the microwave! The shower was good and comfortable bed, but other furnishings need...

We spent five days in villa Mawar end of May. Very nice romantic little house with a lovely private garden. The house and terrace were very clean as well as the grounds and the pool. We were a little bit worried because of the latest reviews of Casa Tomaren. But everything is OK. Daily breakfast is decent for such a...
