I stayed here because I wanted to learn both kitesurfing and Spanish. El Medano was the place were I could do both. The staff in the hostel is really friendly and can help you organize many activities around. The hostel was quite clean and there were enough common facilities.

We so much appreciated help of an amazing Irish lady at the reception who helped us to print our boarding passes. The location is perfect - just in the centre, very close to beach and many restaurants and cafés. Very friendly prices :)

Stayed at this hostel for two nights... I've stayed in various hostels all around the world and I must admit this one is right up there with the best....notably for the atmosphere. With it being a surf hostel the majority of travellers are all big watersports fanatics and the whole hostel has a lovely, friendly hippy vibe. What I loved...

It was my first time traveling on my own. Felt welcomed from arrival to departure. Family business run by love!! From the staff to the lodgers I cannot fault this hostel. A few steps from the beach, clean, friendly and lots of room to either be on your own or socialise. Met some interesting people and made some life long...

This hostel situated very close to the bay - so in the morning before check-out we could go swimming without our huge backpacks. In the kitchen you can find sugar\tea\coffe - so it's very convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a tiny terrace - so that was a good place for supper in romantic atmosphere.

Great place, met nice people, the rooms were clean with great communal areas. Great central location, the place is let down by the lack of a working wi fi connection, could not connect in any room of the hostel and train on my Mac and iPhone....
