The room with its sunny balcony is clean, not very large / the beach/sea view is pleasant.
The swimming pool is not very big but sufficient, since there will only be adults.
There is a charge for using the tiny safe (key), it barely holds an iPad!!

The family cuisine presented in the form of buffets is excellent - despite the limited choice it is more than sufficient. Desserts are for us below the other dishes offered.

Meals are done in peace. (No children) White fabric tablecloth at each service; we enjoyed it very much.
A bottle of wine is offered for those over 60, thank you.

The staff is pleasant and professional.
Possibility to rent bicycles.

Street parking is complicated and must be more difficult in summer if the hotel parking lot is full.

The proximity of the beach can be an advantage but noise pollution is very present in the evening - or even very late - on a busy street, and especially the influx of customers from the pizzeria right opposite.

We wanted to experience the last days of summer in November on the Spanish coast.
We were looking for a cheap hotel and ended up in Gandia (near Valencia) at the Hotel RH Riviera.
The hotel is just across a promenade (cyclists, pedestrians) right on the huge beach. The beach is made of fine sand (huge). You can swim and go for long walks. There are restaurants everywhere where you can get a lunch menu with wine and coffee for a maximum of 15 euros.
You can park in the underground car park (5 euros) or on the side of the road.
The building is relatively small, all rooms have a balcony with a sea view.
The reception was very friendly, we got a room on the 2nd floor that was accessible by elevator.
The large room was well equipped. Good large double bed, minibar, bathroom with bathtub. Everything was very clean,
Breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice, freshly fried eggs, omelettes, and lots of sweet things, super tasty.
Unfortunately, dinner was a little late (from 8:15 p.m.). but SO GOOD:
Salad, soup, starters, fish, meat and freshly fried dishes. EVERYTHING was delicious. If you were over 60, you got free drinks. But only if you booked the room on the hotel's website.
I have to particularly praise the staff. Super friendly. Always a smile on their faces.
And finally, the price: it was super cheap. And that was for a week of summer in November!!

We have spent 15 days in this hotel with a great location on the promenade and the beach, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, sufficient equipment, good Wi-Fi coverage, and a balcony with great sea views to see the sunrise and the sea, the large and comfortable bathroom with good water flow in the shower, to put a small disadvantage would be the replacement of the sheets that are a little thin. The quality of the food is good and for both breakfast and dinner the preparation and variety is wide and well prepared. The only thing you can say about the staff is that they are always willing to make things easier for you and with a good face. The quality-price ratio is one of the best I have found. Hotel to spend a few days as peacefully as you want and not worry about everything else.

In general the HOTEL is very good for a 3 star hotel. First line of the Gandia beach, it has an exceptional staff of workers who have treated us very well and we have spent a few days of Christmas very comfortable. A small recommendation would be to put a towel on the bathroom floor so that the client does not touch the cold and wet floor when they leave the shower or when they enter it. THANK YOU.

After 16 days staying at this hotel I think that the hotel is old and needs several improvements. I have summarized some positive points and areas for improvement.
Things to improve:
-There were ants in the room
-The bathtub was quite old with a shower curtain which is unhygienic. It was appreciated that they installed showers with screens.
-The air conditioning unit was on the terrace and took up so much space that I could not go out to the small terrace. The air conditioning is not centralized.
Positive points:
- Breakfast was very good
-The location is excellent

We spent 11 days in the hotel and we left with great sadness, but very happy, grateful and with a very nice memory of our stay.
The best thing about the hotel is the staff, who are workers, always smiling, friendly, efficient and willing to help you with whatever you need to make your vacation better, from the reception, those who make the rooms, waitresses, cooks... we're leaving delighted with everyone.
Something that we also have great memories of is the food and its quality. It is true that the hotel is small, its dining room and kitchen don't do much, but there is always a lot of variety and there wasn't a day that wasn't It was difficult for us to choose what we wanted to eat because we wanted several things, and everything was delicious, what a good quality of food they have. Special mention to the desserts, no sponge cakes with colored cream like other hotels do, variety and quality also in the desserts.
We also loved its location, we were looking at the other hotels that this chain has in Gandía but in the end we opted for this one and we thought it was the best due to its location, on the beachfront and very central to everything.
The rooms are also very comfortable, we miss having more drawers to put things in, but we managed well. Also the pool area is small but plenty to take a dip in, in these things you have to be clear that it is not a resort, it is a small hotel and it makes very good use of what it has.
In short, we left delighted and with the clear idea that we would also return delighted.

We stayed her in room 404 between the 12th and 19th of November.
This is a small hotel right on the sea front. The room was clean and comfy with cleaning on a dally basis if you wanted it.
We had a balcony that had a side view of the sea, beach and the marina.
There was a TV that had 3 English channels and a small fridge / mini bar.
The room was equipped with air con but we didn't need to use it
The food was probably some the best we have had in a 3 star hotel. With plenty of choices at both breakfast and dinner.
The staff were absolutely brilliant, they all were friendly helpful and professional.
We had a hire car so booked a spot in the underground garage which was a very reasonable 5 euros per night. However, parking spaces are quite tight so a smaller car would have been a better choice.
I would recommend taking a travel kettle if you are partial to a hot drink in you room.
In conclusion I would not hesitate to stay here again if I was in the area.

Very Friendly Staff and Reviewer. Small but well presented and cooked buffet. Meat and fish are grilled every day at the moment. They leave you towels for the pool. Change of sheets every 3 days. Bath towels and sink every day. Very clean and tidy. Silent air conditioning.

The bad: There is a bathtub instead of a shower and the artichoke in front of your face when opening the curtain. There is no magnifying mirror and not a single hanger in the bathroom. Makes a piece of furniture with drawers, because you don't know where to store clothes that don't hang in the closet. Safety deposit box is charged 20€ (when most hotels are includeda)
(when most hotels are already included).

In December it looks like they will make reforms, it would be nice if they considered implementing some of the things suggested

We spent a very nice week in The Riviera and really enjoyed it. The hotel is located right on the beachfront and is near to local shops and restaurants, but is also only 5 minutes walk from the bus stop which takes you into Gandia City via the shopping Centres and the railway station, €1.55 for the ticket. The room had black out curtains, a comfortable mattress, air conditioning and a balcony giving side sea views so we were able to sit out and relax and see the sea. Fridge is a bit on the small side, but you can squeeze a few items in to keep you hydrated. For lovers of hot drinks, there wasn’t a kettle, so bear this in mind if you’d planned to have a cuppa on the balcony. Breakfast was buffet style and has something for every dietary need. We loved the swimming pool, it was so nice to cool off from the heat and also have a jacuzzi. All staff met were lovely polite and friendly. The hotel bar showed a variety of sports in the evening, especially La Liga games. For music lovers, there are many beach bars nearby to sit, relax with a beer, chill to the music and hear the waves crash onto the shore. Thanks for a great week.

We are very pleased that we were able to meet your expectations and that you have enjoyed our facilities. It is true that we don't have a kettle in all rooms, however, you could have requested it at reception and we could have put one at your disposal in your room. We hope to see you again another time. The location of 10, on the first line, next to the port and shopping area. The hotel is average, rooms with a side terrace and sea views, clean, not very soundproof, you can hear everything from the next door rooms. buffet dining room, good and varied. Very attentive and friendly employees. Pool somewhat small with few hammocks, but very clean and well-kept. The WORST thing is the refrigerator in the room, IT WAS NOT COOLING, the first day I arrived I told the reception and they told me that they were going to send maintenance, no one showed up there in the five days I was there, I had to drink water from the time ( hot). parking €15 per day.

Hello Annette, Oliva nova is 10km from the Hotel on the way to Denia. When crossing Oliva you will come to a Repsol petrol station and here there is a detour to access directly to the area of the competition of the horse show. We are about 90km from Valencia airport. Thanks
