We went for dune bashing and this place was a good spot to keep things and crash after an eventful and tiring day. Do not expect a lot from here. The food is pretty basic and the rooms and facilities are basic as well. I'd put it in a way, where a person just needs to sleep after dune bashing...

Place is awesome and in the lap of magnificent golden sand dunes. Safari on sand dunes was a lifetime experience in evening. Resort is average. Food is far below average. Can go if no other better options exist. The desert scooter ride was excellent and must be taken

I don't know what is people's expectation. This place is in the middle of Empty Quarter. One of a few places within miles that serve food and drink, provide a room and bed, has flush toilet and a shower! So, let's take what they have, enjoy the desert experience.

the only good thing about this camp is that its easily approachable and even a sedan can reach there. However, the other side of the same coin is that its surroundings are always crowded. Go there only if you can manage to sleep on concrete platforms and using not-so-clean toilets. on the positive side, the location of the camp is...

It is a wonderful drive over wahiba even if only 20kms with no man in sight. Its tricky at night as ther is no sign board or a person to ask for location, except you find the 10 lane wide dune track to no where. located at the second telecomunication tower, kep to your left on the track not to...

If you ever want to escape to an isolated place to unwind from literally everything, this is the place to be. Located in the Middle of nowhere, is the perfect getaway packed with loads of fun and new experiences. The Golden sands color, the cool desert breeze (in winter), the vast stretches of nothing but sand. The accommodation is not...

Having read all the reviews I had very low expectations of this camp before going which probably helped. The rooms are very basic but were clean. They will arrange a ride for you from the petrol station to the camp in a 4 wheel drive in case you dont have one. We also saw some people reaching the camp in...

In addition to previous review, I would like to add that there's nothing to do during the day. There's no air conditioner during the day. And during the night, it's extremely noisy (I had to switch it off despite the heat). The blankets were quite dirty. Camel drive expensive. Food was basic. I advise you to pay a driving guide...

Why I put "Clean & Convenience" and (in the desert) because traveler should not expect what as I wrote at the title in the desert. However, this camp made me impressed and would like to come back again. The camp need to use 4WD to reach there and a bit far from the main road, so there is a souvenir...

“Do not take the 1st cluster at the entrance, they are tiny rooms for the cost. I suggest not to take shared bathroom either. The 1st cluster was ok for the location opening to the vast desert and away from music and dance at night if you prefer.”
  • Basic facility :(
  • Very small room
  • Solid cement cot and bed.
  • Dune bashing next door & children play area
  • In front of rooms-1st cluster
  • Small crowded design
